Job Description

We are looking to hire a skilled CNC programmer to operate and maintain our CNC equipment. As a CNC programmer, you will read and interpret technical blueprints, input the design specifications, adjust the machine cutting paths, and perform quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.

To ensure success as a CNC Programmer, you should have extensive experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work unsupervised. Ultimately, a top-class CNC programmer works quickly and efficiently, ensuring all products meet the specifications of the client.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
• Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
• Inputting the product design into the computer modelling software.
• Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
• Adjust machine settings to the desired product specifications.
• Create CNC program for new development projects, typically direct from a drawing.
• Calculate and write programs for CNC work centres to fabricate component parts to stated engineering specifications.
• Works independently to troubleshoot and resolve problems concerning machining operations, tools, materials and CNC programs.
• Perform detailed analysis of the component parts configuration/dimensions to determine the most efficient machining operations required for production.
• Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
• Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
• Insert computer programs into CNC work centres, set and adjust machine speeds and feeds, modify programs and document changes as required.      

Requirements

• Professional Certificate or Diploma in Engineering field or related courses.
• Minimum 2 years experience in CNC programming.
• Candidates with hands on experience with CNC Milling operations are preferred.
• Candidates who are familiar with Mastercam and Gibbscam will have added advantage.
• Must be able to speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.

The individual selected for this position will:

• Rendering professional legal advice and legal policy services to agency officials with respect to questions regarding laws, regulations, practices, or other matters falling with the purview of the Office.
• Drafting final agency policy statements.

- Actively track and monitor multiple FAST-41 covered projects throughout the entire permitting process;

- Represent the Permitting Council and the Executive Director before other senior level government officials (including Deputy Secretary level management) and other senior level executive stakeholders;

- Draft and provide interpretations of FAST-41 Implementation Guidance (Appendix A and B);

- Function as lead on permitting process improvements, efficiency, predictability and transparency, including development of Agency Best Practice Report and Annual Report to Congress;

- Assist Contracting Officer Representative to manage contractor deliverables;

- Act as the Permitting Council liaison to other senior level government officials to ensure continuous business process improvements across the interagency infrastructure permitting process, utilizing data analysis, performance metrics consistent with the statutory requirements set forth in FAST-41; Interpret, analyze, and apply project data on front and backend of Permitting Dashboard to provide executive and senior level permitting officials accurate briefs;

- Liaison with various Federal and state permitting agencies and staff to ensure compliance with the FAST-41 statute and relevant regulations and guidance;

- Identifies and implements best practices to add consistency, predictability and accelerated timeliness to federal infrastructure permitting process, without degrading environmental impacts or community outcomes;

- Functions as an authoritative advisor to management for development, implementation of performance metrics (i.e. Recommended Performance Schedule), and all matters related to project activities within the Permitting Council.

• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Programs and Project Controls Branch, Data Quality Team (DQT)
• Responsible for interpretation and application of regulations relating to Civil and Military programs, automated funds management systems, civil programming and fiscal matters related to these programs.
• Functions as the senior policy advisor to the Deputy District Engineer for Project Management and Programs and Project Management Branch Chiefs, as well as other District leadership on schedule related matters
• Staff advisor working with the District’s Civil Works, Military, and IIS program managers, District resource providers, and the Operational Management Board (OMB).
• Provides strategic advice to SPK leadership regarding project schedules, resourcing, and budgets.

• Registers projects and project data in the specific District Primavera P6 library; maintains District standard WBS templates and is responsible for the Primavera P6 database management for resourcing, programming and execution of projects.
• Provides comprehensive analysis of data obtained by utilizing government Primavera or AE firm/customer analytical tools of contractor construction claims, involving alleged delay of project completion with enormous potential cost impacts.
• Coordinates with PDT, Civil Works Project Management, the Supplemental Program Managers, and Military Program Managers to assure funds are available for established schedules.
• Analyzes program and project data to take input data in Primavera P6 for the proper interface with the RMS, CEFMS, and other upward reporting tools, and as required to provide information for the PM to utilize Primavera P6 to manage projects.

• Resolves a broad range of issues concerning the application of any of FDA’s enabling legislation, pertinent regulations, and/or general legislation affecting the operation of the federal government.
• Reviews and prepares analyses for office managers on the impact of proposed changes to Food and Drug Administration laws and regulations which affect the compliance functions, program segments, policy, and activities of the organization.
• Drafts responses to inquiries from regulated industry and other interested persons on issues that affect aspects of compliance and enforcement of the regulated industry.
• Provides recommendations on the interpretation of applicable laws, regulations, and programs related to the tobacco industry.

• Reviews reports and compliance reviews from the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Government Accounting Office (GAO) and others to determine the implications of the audit findings.
• Identifies a resolution path, provides analytic support for resolving audit findings through the preparation of position papers, researches legal and contractual or complicated issues, and provides an assessment and recommended approaches based on the implications and financial impacts of the audit findings and resolution options.
• Maintains tracking information in OPM systems and/or spreadsheets. Also conducts audit follow-up and resolution activities to ensure timely and responsive corrective action as well as compliance with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-50, Audit Follow-up, the Inspector General Act, and other governing laws and regulations.
• Prepares Contracting Officer's resolution letters as well as position papers, research reports and analytical memoranda relating to audit reports, findings and financial components of contract administration.
• Arranges and leads meetings with carrier, management, contracting office and other stakeholders to review open recommendations, corrective action plans, and the evidence for audit closure, so as to ensure that the next steps to reach closure are clearly communicated and achievable for all involved in the audit.
• Monitors, evaluates and reports ARC performance, internal control and other activity and trends regarding the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program, Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) Program, Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS), Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP) and Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP).
