Applications are invited for an experienced B4 Medical Secretary to provide secretarial and administration support to the Consultants and Medics at the Community Mental Health Team, based at The Gateway Centre, Blackpool. The successful applicant will be offered full on the job training.



You will need advanced word processing skills, OCR level III or equivalent word processing experience. In addition you will need digital audio typing experience.

You will need experience of live typing in meetings with excellent summarising skills. You will need previous Secretarial experience. The post holder will coordinate their activities with other members of the secretarial team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided. The successful applicants will require a flexible approach and the ability to work across other sites if required for the needs of the service.

The post holder will be expected to utilise good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and external agencies as required.

The post requires excellent organisational skills including medical audio-typing and live typing if requested by the Consultant eg Best Interest Meetings, or Professionals Meetings. The post holder will utilise a range of technical skills including word-processing, email and computerised diary systems, and employ a range of electronic systems relating to clinical records.

We are looking for an Agile Delivery Manager to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital.

This is not a traditional project management role. We're looking for skilled agile delivery managers, who have experience of delivering software in an agile environment.

You'll enable a multi-disciplinary team through different phases, as we use fresh ideas and leading-edge tech to build and maintain digital solutions that will be used by nearly every person in the UK.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? 

• Experience of delivering software at pace in an agile environment 

• A good understanding of agile principles and practices 

• Promoting a healthy team culture, managing team dynamics and fostering a continuous improvement environment 

• Translating technical terms and facilitating relationships with business stakeholders  

• Form effective partnerships and relationships with people both internally and externally, from a range of diverse backgrounds, sharing information, resources and support

Our Agile Delivery Managers create psychologically safe spaces, so our high-performing digital teams to create, build, innovate and deliver stuff that works for over 20 million users.

You'll make sure our experts have what they need to deliver the best services. You'll identify blockers, and find the best way round through, and over.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne or Sheffield, whichever most convenient for you. 

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub. 

Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £45,081.

Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £13,000 per year. 

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days and rising to 31 days over time. 

You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
