Year 1 Class Teacher Role:

• Possess strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Maintain a tidy and organized classroom with easily accessible resources
• Collaborate effectively with other staff members both in the classroom and throughout the school
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that can be adapted to the needs of the class
• Willingly comply with and effectively implement the school's policies

Year 1 Class Teacher Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status
• Have recent experience as a Primary School Teacher in a mainstream school
• Demonstrate good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Experience working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is desirable

This Reception Class Teacher role continues for 2 terms, until the end of the academic year. This is a full time position but the school may be open to a part time or job share alternative.
