About the role
As a Mortgage Processing Officer, you'll take full ownership of processing mortgage files from document preparation to settlement. You'll be integral to ensuring service level agreements are met or exceeded, working efficiently to deliver accurate and timely outcomes for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and manage loan contracts and settlement documentation, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate settlements via PEXA or through settlement agents, maintaining accurate records in relevant systems.
Deliver excellent customer service by resolving inquiries, addressing errors, and providing regular status updates.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of files within service level agreements.
Conduct quality checks to maintain data integrity and compliance.
Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and achieve departmental goals.
About You
You're a detail-oriented professional with experience in end-to-end mortgage processing or a related field. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Whether you're looking to build on existing expertise or expand your skills, your proactive approach and ability to manage competing priorities will ensure success in this role.
What You'll Bring :
Experience in end-to-end mortgage processing, conveyancing, or a related area.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Confidence in liaising with stakeholders and resolving queries promptly.
The ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with PEXA or mortgage lending practices (highly regarded).
