Serves as a Operations Manager (OM) in a Large TRACON, responsible for planning and directing operations. The incumbent may be requested to provide direct support to the Air Traffic Manager. In the terminal option, the OM provides first-line supervision to assigned Operation Supervisors (OS) and Traffic Management Coordinators (TMC), if applicable. The OM provides second-line supervision to Air Traffic Control Specialists (ATCS). The OM is responsible for operational services of the facility including traffic management initiatives. Provides training, coaching, and guidance to subordinates and facilitates team building throughout his/her area(s) of responsibility. Integrates support resources with operational needs to maintain effective ATC service, and may work other than administrative shifts to meet this requirement. The Pharmacy Technician provides support to all pharmacy operations in a variety of settings. This includes patient care activities in the main outpatient dispensing pharmacy, phone center, outpatient clinic, administration area, or to other area as assigned by the supervisor.

Typical duties may include but are not limited to:

• Reads and interprets prescriptions from the veteran electronic health record systems (EHRS) or in written format.
• Reviews prescription orders for technical accuracy.
• Prepares medications and ensures the orderable item matches the item being dispensed regarding drug, strength, quantity, or appropriate supply item supply item.
• Dispenses medications and sterile products following all regulations, policies, and procedures for safe medication distribution.
• Uses Automatic Dispensing machines (ADM) to batch and label medications. Ensure ScriptTalk labels are batched if needed. Understands when to use other prescription labels with computer outages.
• Able to use the current facility phone system.
• Maintains appropriate phone etiquette and professionalism.
• Able to work independently in phone centers locations.
• Accurately collects and clarifies patient information.
• Capable of synthesizing patient information to identify basic therapeutic, distributive, or medication related problems.
• Understands when to alert pharmacists for problems.

The purpose of this position is to serve as a Small Shop Chief (SSC) with the responsibility for the overall shop. The position oversees and directs the work of one or more employees who perform work in the Aircraft Survival Flight Equipment Repairer, WG-4818-10 occupation who are assigned to the shop. The incumbent performs the full range of non-supervisory journey level work of the shop.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plans and lays out work to be accomplished in the shop which is then completed by the incumbent and lower graded worker(s).

Utilizes knowledge and skills of the journey level as well as those required to plan, accomplish, and maintain a functional shop maintenance program.

Independently determines appropriate maintenance procedures such as how and when the work should be accomplished. Estimates manpower, equipment, and material requirements.

Devises and maintains all program plans and records, performs surveillance and troubleshooting, and determines maintenance/repair procedures to be utilized.

Plans, organizes, and directs shop maintenance programs/procedures under general supervision.

Determines approaches, methods, and courses of action required to accomplish the mission of the shop in an effective and efficient manner.

Provides recommendations and input to the supervisor concerning personnel actions such as performance appraisals, awards, position description changes, disciplinary actions, leave, etc.

Performs the full range of journey level work of the shop.

Implements safety regulatory requirements. Ensures that other workers in the shop wear appropriate safety equipment and follow pertinent safety precautions.

Performs other duties as assigned.

• Develops major portions of the operating budget, performs budget reviews and provides status reports.
• Receives incoming pay directives, policies, and instructions from higher headquarters and implements changes.
• Conducts special studies and works on projects that address pay problems/issues encountered across management functional lines for the elimination or reduction of similar problems in the future.
• Serves as the Garrison's Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC), Agency Program Coordinator (APC) with the responsibilities to effectively monitor and maintain the government travel card program in accordance with Army Regulations.
