The primary duties of the Nursing Assistant may vary by assignment. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Works directly with patients and observes them on a 1:1 basis in an inpatient setting on a unit.
• Assisting in the care of medical and surgical patients by supporting patient activities for daily living (ADLs).
• Report changes in patient's condition to the registered nurse, as well as the patient's acceptance and response to nursing care.
• Operating equipment (Vital sign machines, EKGs, Bladder Scans, etc.).
• Establishes therapeutic relationships with patient and families.
• Perform procedures such as venipuncture, finger sticks, and wound dressings.
• Monitor and chart patient status in compliance with applicable laws and local policies, and properly report any abnormal findings to designated Nurse or Medical staff.
• Submits work orders for broken equipment, and properly stores and cleans equipment.
• Contributes to a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff by cleaning equipment, furniture, appliances, and patient care areas.
• Communicates with patient and family members about care, and ensure all communications comply with HIPAA and applicable laws and regulations.
• Collecting and transporting patient specimens for the laboratory.
• Completes hazardous items checks of unit, patients, and their belongings.
• Understands and uses proper medical terminology.
• Transporting patients to other areas of the hospital and returns to proper unit bed.
• Leads by example in defining a customer service culture to ensure that all patients are treated with respect and civility
• Other duties as assigned.

Duties and responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to the following:

• Daily responsibilities include collecting, compiling, and tracking data and statistical information in support of Veteran Transportation Service (VTS).
• Perform a basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports.
• Collate in-coming data from a variety of sources. Reviews documents, reports and/or applications for omissions and inconsistencies and ensures data entry is complete and accurate.
• Enter pertinent information into an automated tracking system.
• Receive DSS extracts to verify that the workload being captured in DSS is correct.
• Maintain automated system of program- specific data to track items such as service project milestones, progress reports, clinic trends, program trends, performance measures, compliance strategies, etc.
• Interact with various other transportation services such as Emergency Medical Service (EMS), Volunteer Transportation Network (VTN), Disabled American Veterans (DAV), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) etc., and other transportation providers.
• Coordinate service practices that decrease waits and delays for patients in all specialty areas.
• Plan consult processing flow to ensure veterans receive consultation services in a timely manner.
• Utilize the Veterans Health Information System & Technological Architecture (VISTA), Computerized Patient Record Systems (CPRS) or SharePoint Consult/Request Tracking System in processing internal consultations.
• Provide procedural support in administering quality monitors to be utilized in the internal consultation process to measure the success of efforts to provide seamless care and to support the education of staff in the proper use of the electronic record, to include internal consultation processes.
• Coordinate service practices that decrease waits and delays for patients in all specialty areas.
• Plan consult processing flow ,to ensure veterans receive consultation services in a timely manner.

The Psychiatric Acute Care Center (PARC) is a 27 bed inpatient adult male/female psychiatric unit that provides patient care to patients with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses. The major diagnosis reasons for admission include the following: psychoses, substance abuse and dependence disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD), organic disorders and neuroses. Patients are provided therapeutic modalities, to include electro-convulsive (ECT) therapy and rehabilitative services that include group therapy or education, one-to-one education and/or counseling and medication management. The interdisciplinary team meets each week to discuss care planning and discharge needs of patients. Allied health team providers provide psychological testing and counseling, social services, vocational counseling, and recreational therapy. The nursing needs of patients are evaluated using the nursing process and care is individualized through interdisciplinary approaches of care. Care is focused on providing a protective environment for those requiring protection from self-injury and/or injury to others resulting from identified diagnoses and psychiatric illnesses. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants provide nursing care.

• Major responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
• Providing patient care such as feeding, bathing, dressing, positioning, and transferring.
• Obtaining vital signs and capillary blood glucose results.
• Applying creams, lotions, and administering other approved medications under the supervision of the nurse.
• Maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu through engaging patients in meaningful activities, monitoring and intervening in behaviors, de-escalating patient behaviors, and intervening with patients experiencing extremes of behavior, including the severely depressed, suicidal or homicidal patients and the drug or alcohol abuse patients.

We're seeking an experienced individual with a background in finance, to join our manufacturing client's growing finance team as a Finance and Billing Assistant.

Working as a Finance and Billing Assistant, your role will be to support the finance team in the accurate processing of financial transactions for suppliers and customers.

Day-to-day you will be:

• Processing invoices, ensuring they're coded correctly and match the purchase order
• Processing of expenses and credit card expenditure, liaising with suppliers and colleagues to resolve any queries
• Processing sales orders, ensuring they match contract terms and pricing information before invoicing
• Perform supplier payments and reconciliations investigating any discrepancies
• Reconciliation of intercompany payables
• Responsible for setting up new supplier accounts
• Assisting with investigation and resolution of GRNI account
• Maintenance of supplier master data
• Assist with year-end audit
• Contract administration
• Support export licence applications
• Any other ad-hoc duties

To be successful in this Finance and Billing Assistant role, you'll have at least one year's previous experience in an accounts payable/accounts receivable role. With at least a year's experience in sales invoicing.

Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience of ERP systems
• Knowledge of UK/International VAT
• Experience of QAD/MFGPro ERP systems, ideally with knowledge of manufacturing - BENEFICAL

Key Responsibilities

This is a varied and fast paced role - you'll be delivering to customers in our Jewson Flatbed van, organising hires at the Tool Hire desk and maintaining the tools and machinery we hire out. We also provide an extensive training program with this role so you have the knowledge to assist you in your role!

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, keeping customers updated throughout their journey

• Delivery and collection of tools and equipment using a 3.5t vehicle, talking customers through how to use them on site

• Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop

• Working according to Health & Safety compliance

Required Skills and Experience

• Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 1 year (manual transmission with no more than 6 points)

• Experience in a customer facing role

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
