Role Purpose
Assist our marketing team in managing email campaigns through Eloqua [OR any other tools] and offer support to the wider team in multiple locations while simultaneously supporting/assisting junior members.
This role includes manage and implementation of end-to-end email campaigns.
Principal Accountabilities
· Campaign Management Escalation: Create, deploy, and monitor marketing campaigns, such as email marketing, nurture campaigns, and segmentation.
· Database Management: Manage and maintain the Eloqua contact database, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
· Segment: Segment target audiences as required for campaigns, using different criteria with available options in platform
· Eloqua Program and Lead process: Customize and configure Eloqua programs to align with business requirements, creating custom objects, fields, and workflows.
· Automation Workflows: Maintain, govern, and develop automated workflows, including lead flow in the correct nurture campaigns, lead scoring, lead flow/synchronization in CRM, and email marketing automation.
· Integration: Collaborate with teams across Civica, primarily with our Marketing team, to integrate Eloqua with other marketing platforms, ensuring data flows and synchronizes effectively.
· Routine Maintenance: Optimize workflows, clean up outdated assets, and ensure that marketing platforms run smoothly for all users.
· Analysis and Reporting: Generate reports and audit campaign performance to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Training and Documentation: Provide training and support to marketing teams on Eloqua best practices and maintain documentation for internal processes.
· Compliance: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, email marketing laws, and best practices.
· Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Identify and rectify issues, problem-solve, and identify gaps in data capture and flow through to Salesforce CRM.
· Manage the creation of marketing and communications collateral, including visual branding and tone of voice, to ensure consistency with the brand.
Oversee the team to ensure they deliver on time, meet service level agreements, and effectively respond to work requests.
Essential Competencies
· 4-6 years of experience working in marketing tech (marketing automation and integration tools)
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Eloqua Administrator or in a similar marketing automation platform admin.
· Proficiency in Oracle Eloqua and its various modules or any similar tool
· Experience with salesforce CRM is plus [Optional]
· Strong understanding of email marketing best practices.
· Experience with nurture campaign, lead scoring, segmentation, and automation workflows.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Eloqua certification is a plus.
