As this is a 24-hour young people’s service Ofsted registered service (accommodating 8 young people), an understanding of the new regulations would be helpful but training can be given. A passion for working with children leaving care and understanding their needs is desirable.

Typical day as a Client Service Manager

• Leading our team of support workers and coordinators, you’ll help us deliver our person centred, efficient, quality housing support services to our customers aligned to our contracts


• You’ll coach your team and manage individual and team performance


• You’ll be a Safeguarding lead for the team, and oversee the health and safety checks and risk assessments are completed and recorded


• You’ll promote the service, ensuring that it’s visible and accessible to referring agencies and self-referring customers and promote our brand in the community


• You’ll ensure the quality of the service evidenced by KPIs and customer satisfaction surveys, and empowering customers and colleagues alike

You have

• Great people skills, ability to communicate and understand where people are in their life

• Ideally, you’ll have experience of leading a team, and have the knack for empowering and developing others


• Experience of delivering support in a housing or care environment


• A vehicle is not essential for this role but if you have one and do need to use it to get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!

• Flexible working hours as this is a 24-hour service, and the role will require you to work on a rota. This will be mainly Mon to Fri but there may be occasion when a weekend shift may be required.

This is a great job opportunity to join the South Region housing team as a income recovery focussed Housing Manager, managing a portfolio of arrears cases from initial contact to legal action, and attending possession hearings. You will work with our Neighbourhood Housing Managers to provide support to our customers and visit customers in their homes as needed. About You

• You are experienced in the housing sector and understand housing management, rent accounts, housing law and in an ideal world, universal credit too!


• You have, or are willing to work towards Chartered Institute of Housing Level 3


• Super organised and methodical in your approach, you’re also a proactive self-starter with a “can do” positive attitude


• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have a genuine desire to help your customers.

About the role
As Conservation Project Manager you will bring together project management skills, specialist conservation and collections care expertise, problem solving, and team leadership skills to deliver collections projects at NCC. More information about NCC can be found below.

Reporting to the Group Conservation Manager, you will work collaboratively and proactively with other Project Managers and departments to enable the Conservation team to deliver Masterplan and Collections Services projects. This includes ensuring that conservation and collection care elements are correctly scoped and resourced and that conservation budgets are managed accordingly.

You will manage and matrix manage conservators across several projects. Using your conservation specialist knowledge of materials and practices, you will help your team plan works and review processes to ensure they are fit for purpose, making decisions to improve efficiencies and ways of working.

Full time (35 hours), Fixed term contract until Dec 2025 - Hybrid working from Wroughton Office.
Offering £40,133 per annum

There may be the possibility of the extension for this role depending on the Science Museum Group work programme.

About you
You will have solid experience of conservation project management with the ability to analyse, forward plan, coordinate and manage people. From this, you have the ability to find innovative conservation solutions to complex problems, and to define and report on key performance indicators, key dependencies and milestones and risk.

With great people and negotiation skills, you can maintain a strong reputation for delivery whist effectively engaging with senior stakeholders, and acting as a successful, and trusted ambassador for your team.

Your new role

Working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your main duties will include:

• Monthly/Weekly pre-planned maintenance.
• Reactive duties across the building
• Managing Sub contractors who attend the building.
• Part take in a call-out rota which currently is 1/3.
• Happy to be flexible and pick up general maintenance where needed.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a similar type of Electrical/Building Maintenance position.
• Level 3 Electrical Installation/or equivalent
• 17th edition or above.
• Flexibility to be on the call-out rota.
