What we’re looking for:

Your Career

The Technical Principal is a senior technical leader in the JAPAC theatre and will be a member of the Palo Alto Networks Global Customer Service (GCS) Leadership Team in JAPAC responsible for leading a team of Technical Architects and liaising and providing technical leadership to GCS teams across JAPAC. The team performs remote datacenter management and user support.

What you will be doing:

• Installing, maintaining, and upgrading internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing client’s company products.
• Controlling user access and managing passwords.
• Monitoring system usage and performance. Training personnel on system usage and best practices.
• Troubleshooting server, software, and hardware issues.
• Researching, evaluating, and recommending software and hardware products.
• Providing new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth.

What you bring:

• Over 8 years of experience in System Administration across diverse technology environments, proven expertise in remote datacenter management and user support.
• Adaptability to work within a versatile System Administration team, encompassing more than just Linux or Wintel support.

About the role:
As a Software Engineer II, you will develop and support Core banking applications, troubleshoot issues reported in the platform. This will also include interacting with Service delivery and technical product groups to assist in supporting the changes to the software. About the team:

This role is part of the Core Banking engineering team, which develops and supports the web applications as part of larger core banking platform. Team is following Value Stream Mapping model and works closely with Product organization to deliver application code into scalable, fault-tolerant production outputs. Also closely works with Service delivery team for any implementations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Strong knowledge in Core Java 8+ & J2EE technologies
• Should have good experience in OOPS concepts, Design patterns, Collection frameworks
• Strong in multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, XML, jQuery)
• Experience in Angular 8+ UI framework
• Build the back end of applications through REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot
• Good to have knowledge in DevOps and Cloud
• Possesses knowledge of Linux environment
• Familiarity with WebSphere application servers and certificates, relational databases and SQL, Java based WebSphere application environment
• Experience with code management tools (git, svn, bitbucket, etc.) & deploy tools (Jenkins)

• Cache Knowledge: Redis, Couchbase
• Agile SDLC work experience

The SoC Development team is seeking highly motivated engineers to join a team of experienced engineers working on the development of controller SoCs.

As a Technologist, Verification Engineer in SoC Development Team, you will develop test-plans and tests for use in testing complex System On Chip (SoC) ASIC’s.  Your work will enable industry-leading data storage control SoC’s that get deployed into high volume consumer and enterprise products.
