RESPONSIBILITIES
This role reports to Director, SCE and will be responsible for achieving the organisation's fundraising and donation targets, specifically for Corporates (with Foundations), Private Foundations, Family Offices and High Net Worth individuals , to deliver the organization's strategies and Mission to realise its espoused Vision.
The SM, Partnerships (Others) Development plays a critical role in enhancing MINDS' engagement and fundraising capability. Focusing on Corporates (with Foundations), Private Foundations, Family Offices and High Net Worth individuals, this candidate will support their volunteering and donation/fundraising activities to help them achieve their CSR/ESG goals.
The SM, Partnerships (Others) Development will also be responsible for the application of relevant grants in support of MINDS' programmes and services as well as the submission of impact reports to update funders of the outcomes of their donations. As a key member of SCE, he/she will also support the department's events and activities.
Donor Engagement & Development:
- Strategise, lead, build pipelines and drive engagements with identified stakeholders across the following key segments - corporate donors (with Foundations), Foundations, Family Offices and High Net Worth individuals.
- Strengthen relationship with existing partners to deepen extent of partnership and support for MINDS.
- Innovate and explore new ways and platforms/channels of reaching out to prospective donors to grow and sustain philanthropic giving for MINDS.
- Ensure good governance on donation administration process and maintenance of donor database.
Fundraising Strategies:
- Develop, implement, and review Donation/Fundraising framework, policy and guidelines for whole of MINDS.
- Track donation types and trends and strategise on how to improve fundraising/donation outcomes across all stakeholder groups.
- Propose yearly donation targets for Senior Management approvement.
- Strategise, lead and drive 2 fundraising campaigns to establish a sustainable income source for MINDS Colours of Inclusivity and Colour My World.
- Ensure good governance for all fundraising efforts, in compliance with relevant government legislations such as and not limited to: Charities Act, Charity Commission Guidelines, House to House and Street Collection Act, etc.
- Contribute to the upkeep of donor records in the Volunteer & Donor Database System.
Grant Applications:
- To be conversant with funding support available and identify appropriate grants that MINDS could apply for in support of their programmes/services.
- Work with entities and prepare grant applications to various funding bodies.
- Prepare impact report to funding bodies to update on outcomes of programmes/services.
Marketing Communications:
- Develop the necessary collaterals to engage the target donors groups and publicise fundraising campaigns, including but not limited to eDMs, microsites and social media posts.
Volunteer Management:
- Engage and expand network of volunteers from corporate donors (with Foundations), Foundations, Family Offices and High Net Worth individuals.to support for MINDS' events and activities.
Dept Support and Team Management:
- Support Dir, SCE in managing Dept budget and preparing all necessary reports to Senior Management, Board etc.
- Plan and guide executive(s) to achieve team and dept goals
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree , preferably in Business / Communications / Marketing or relevant subjects
OTHER INFORMATION
- At least 8 years of working experience and three years of experience in managing a team
- Experience in fundraising/donor development, stakeholder engagement and PR/marketing communications
- Experience in grant applications and preparation of impact reports for funding bodies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent project management and events coordination skills
