The PITCH

Senior Strategists are tasked with the oversight and growth of an account, helping the strategy director and agency leadership to set and execute a vision for it.

A senior strategist will be tasked with ensuring the strategists & Post Creative Strategists (PCS) reporting to them are supported, delivering great briefs, strong work and insightful strategy to guide creative and media. In addition, the senior strategist will help to identify proactive opportunities, look for areas to elevate the work to new heights and help tie together granular insights / opportunities with big, impactful activations.

Your day to day can oversee any part of the strategic process, from helping PCS (junior strategists tasked with cultural insights and observations) find amazing signals in the world, to helping team members shape briefs or discussing the effectiveness of our campaigns. You will aim to be the client’s key advisor on what to do and why to do it.

This exciting opportunity of a full-time role based in Singapore will allow you to collaborate with the local team as well learn from the experts globally. You will manage and drive our strategy expertise and someone who is familiar with the Singapore landscape.

• Vocal and inventive champion with the ability to break down complex tasks and create clarity from complexity.
• Implementation knowledge of end-to-end customer experience strategies, including customer research, strategy, vision & design
• Keen sense of developing strategy solutions, from brand strategy, down to tactical social, content and influencer strategies
• Help to set, plan and execute the strategic vision of an account - growing it through strong thinking and great work
• Guiding junior members of the team (strategists and PCSs) to grow and build clear, actionable briefs
• Providing strategic guidance and leadership to creative and media team members on an account
• Identifying insights from current content performance and championing their potential to become larger activations and campaigns.
• Well versed with the ability to leverage VaynerMedia tools, research and platforms to: perform content audits, produce performance reports for campaigns and always-on social and provide analytical insights from results
• Collaborate with the media team to provide holistic success measurement frameworks.
• Implement social analysis for campaigns/events and present insights back to inform content /Media decisions for campaign/event activities and advise on actions to take from optimizations standpoint.
• Bring the consumer’s world to life for creative teams and clients using qualitative and cultural mining and insightful hands-on synthesis of quantitative research to inform a strategic approach.
• Pull and interpret data from social listening tools including volume, sentiment, conversation drivers, influencers, and ‘unobvious’ observations and insight etc.
• Develop distinct and differentiated audience segmentations that are connected to strategic decisions and creative ways-in.
• Articulate effective strategic rationale and logic flow that will help form a compelling story.
• Deck crafter - someone that can detail out ideas and insights that are clear and can sell!
• Ample experience in digital agency life and social/digital content creation to fully grasp the technical aspects of creating content as well as understanding the digital consumer journey and how to engage through a digital architecture map for end-to-end campaigns.

• Project Management
  • Provide strategic program planning and oversight on a variety of marketing and advertising work, including brand creative, websites & digital experiences, social content, digital videos, events, etc
  • Review budgets, project plans, and SOWs with an understanding of best practices, potential third-party capabilities, time requirements, and broader portfolio business objectives
  • Work with PMs, department leads, and FinOps to assemble the best integrated teams for each assignment.

Your Experience

• 10+ years, including direct experience within an agency environment in a project management capacity
• Experience with digital and social projects and deliverables ranging from $10K to $2M+
• Strong ability to partner across departments, including Client Service, Strategy, Creative, Production, Media, etc.
• A cool, calm and collected approach to problem solving.
• Understanding of, and experience executing, projects that adhere to platform guidelines, legal considerations, advertising regulations and social/digital best practices
• Demonstrated experience in and passion for team leadership, mentorship, and development of junior talent

THE TASK AT HAND

• Consult stakeholders on topic definitions, social listening measures and filters to define objectives and set deliverables for standard and custom reports.
• Implement social analysis for campaigns/events and present insights back to inform content /Media decisions for campaign/event activities and advise on actions to take from optimizations standpoint.
• Social listening tool setup including building queries using query parameters, and dashboards on given social listening tools or social analytics tools.
• Take initiative on the refinement of query parameter setup to ensure accurate and insightful mention analysis is available to report on by the end of the reporting period.
• Pull and interpret data from social listening tools including volume, sentiment, conversation drivers, influencers, and ‘unobvious’ observations and insight etc.
• Create and edit reporting deliverables for Google slides, Newsletter and Excel formats that transform social data into a clear story. Visualize findings legibly using charts, tables, and infographics, and provide actionable insights based on concrete data.
• At times be the direct client contact for regional projects and coordinate work amongst junior analysts
• Manage a deliverable calendar of recurring scheduled and ad hoc reports.
• Good housekeeping - upkeep of shared calendars and the storage of report agreement documents and delivered reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-4 years of professional experience social media marketing, social media analytics, and measurements, social listening or social media management or community management
• Minimum 2 years of experience in online/social analytics
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese are required to work with the regional team, while also being able to deliver work for the Japan market and consumers
• Moderate experience in client communications and managing their expectations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to transform data into a concise, yet compelling story.
• Ability to synthesize information and produce insightful and accurate analysis and recommendations.
• Good mix of technical understanding, business sense, managerial/connecting and Interpersonal skills
• Strong familiarity and understanding of social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Chat applications, is required.
• Relevant experience pulling data from social media listening/analytics tools such as Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Meltwater, Google Studio, etc.

Our Singapore office is hunting for a passionate and driven Senior PM that will lead exciting brands from a consulting perspective and continually review and optimize the work team produces, and collaborate with the project management team to establish effective ways to lead teams and processes.

Here’s where you come in…

• Take the lead on planning and managing large, complex projects with many workstreams in their entirety, from brief to delivery
• Taking your project plan and making it a reality by mobilising the best teams (internal and external) around the vision, and providing a clear picture of expected outcomes
• Responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of the project, both internally and with clients, working closely with each member of the team ensuring each milestone is met on time and within budget
• Taking the driver’s seat and pushing the work forward, with a relentless focus on the details
• Resource management alongside the Creative Director and Head of Delivery
• Tracking financial progression, ensuring it is shared and assessed, taking the lead in suggesting and making adjustments to the project and team as needed
• Partner with the Account, Strategy, and Creative leads to ensure client expectations, creative vision, and agency needs are met from briefing through final delivery on projects

The PITCH

The Social Media Manager (CM) will oversee the social channel and community management operations across the Southeast Asia region, ensuring that local teams implement with excellence and accuracy. They will focus on delivering best social media practices and brand impact in collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Platforms, Strategy, Creative & Media teams. They will continually train and coach the local community teams, driving best practices for CM2.0 collaboratively with our regional and global center of excellence.

• Lead a team that is responsible for day-to-day channel and community management, including asset posting, fan engagement, and online community monitoring.
• Ensure that local community teams are supported and trained to deliver accuracy and engagement.
• Continuously optimize the channel/community management processes and systems (e.g. tools) for social excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, such as Platforms & Culture, Strategy, Creative, Client Partnerships & Media teams.
• Ensure delivery consistency in the execution of local community teams; including team operations and time management.
• Develop best practices on social engagement and community management; ability to activate and respond to new social trends.

Your Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing social media channels and teams (social media managers / community managers / content creators).
• Hands-on experience in community management; including high-volume asset posting, community engagement, and social crisis monitoring.
• Proficiency in social media management tools & analytics background to provide strategic recommendations to optimize social operations.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with fantastic attention to detail
• Strong copywriting and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience working in an agency setting, directly with clients, is appreciated but not mandatory.
