WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our product pod is made up of a multi-disciplinary team of specialized T-shape designers, BAs, Program Managers, Product Managers, Data Engineers who care deeply about the people who use our products. We play an integral part in gathering insights about product user needs, attitudes, emotions, and behaviors to inspire and inform design.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a critical role in creating useful, usable, and delightful products working with stakeholders across functions and levels, you/your work will impact at all stages of product development. You’ll explore user behaviors and motivations being part of all research, design, development, review and release phase.
As a Tresata Senior UXer, you will:
- Drive the product experience by collaborating, prioritizing efforts across Business, Product, Engineering, Vendor Partners, Marketing and Sales to achieve desired business outcomes through defined UX OKRs. During this time, you will closely work with the product managers who will help navigate through the product vision.
- Lead through ambiguity wearing all hats to address user and business needs considering the design and tech constraints/conscious trade-offs at all times. If needed, hand-hold teams to achieve desired design maturity.
- Partner with other external Design BUs/partners on need basis to establish/ set the foundation for more cohesive and coherent user experience across products and other design service lines.
- Proactively partner with the UX team to enhance team capabilities and participate in self-applied-learning goals carving out your niche career paths.
- Be a whistle-blower to ensure best practices and foster a culture of oneness within and across teams.
- Lead design ideation sessions with a clear agenda and provide clear execution plans consulting and adapting established frameworks. If required, suggest a data-driven/tested improvement plan with an urge to drive and make it happen!
- Ability to provide timelines, review development outcomes and get closures foreseeing risks, trade-offs led design impact on the release journey within the SDLC designed Standard operating procedure.
- Structured documentation on tools like Confluence in a timely manner and participate actively during the weekly UX huddles, daily standups and review discussions.
- Ability to present quick concept workflows and iterate with purpose- driven mindset embracing other functional teams ideas, rational, ways of working and priorities. Be very mindful to respect teammates and appreciate collective success.
- Ability to derive design expectations from think-aloud sessions and collaborate with business stakeholders to create a vision and execution map.
- Ability to create high-fidelity (dev ready) design deliverables that can clearly communicate the design specifics, expectations and also prepare a design-dev hand-off document that developers can refer to during the development sprint.
- Experience mentoring junior designers to level-up in a methodical manner.
- Passionate about experimental outcomes and considers failure as a critical step to evolve, engage, learn and build .
- Honest, accommodative and ready to admit to the situations and ability to cut-through the need of the hour.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design, and incorporate relevant insights into our design process.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle, championing user needs and advocating for design excellence.
WHAT SKILLS/EXPERIENCE YOU NEED TO BRING
- 8-10 years of digital product design experience and its management at an IC level ( Strong proficiency in problem-solving with appreciable Visual and interactive prototyping skills).
- Portfolio (one best case study) showcasing your UCD processes led business outcomes.
- Excellent systems thinker with experience building products imbibing best practices around accessibility, brand ethos, scalable and matured design frameworks.
- Experience in managing design systems.
- Expertise on design tools - Adobe XD, Figma,Figma Jam, Miro.
- Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambitious and dynamic environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong and precise storyteller.
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and driving innovation through design.
