From 1 August 2025, we have a vacancy for an Arts and Crafts Teacher (Textile and Technical Design) for 85% to 100% workload

Your Profile:

• Completed training as a teacher in the respective field or comparable qualification.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.

• Experience in handling various materials, techniques and tools.

Your Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivery of Arts & Crafts lessons from Primary 1 to 6 (age 6 to 12) in accordance with Swiss Curriculum.
• Promotion of students' manual and creative skills.
• Preparation and organisation of projects, exhibitions and school events.
• Collaboration within the teaching team and active participation in shaping everyday school life.

We are a bilingual school (German-English and French-English) officially recognized by the Swiss Confederation. Around 260 children (between the age of two and twelve) from 19 different countries are currently attending the SSIS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine checks and repairs on tables, chairs, carpentry, doors, windows, key locks, plumbing, electrical, lighting and HVAC systems, air purifying and dehumidifying systems.
• Conduct regular checks on school facilities and equipment.
• Collaborate with operations and facilities team in maintaining a safe and clean school environment, outdoor spaces and gardens.
• Regular floor scrub and maintenance work on classroom wall and ceilings.
• Help set-up and take down equipment and furniture for school events and activities.
• Co-ordinate with staff to meet specific setup requests.
• Operate the night light system for events purpose.
• Assist and supervise external contractors when necessary.
• Conduct painting and touch-up work for walls, doors and furniture when necessary
• Participate in building maintenance upgrade projects.
• Assist with installation of new fixtures, furniture and equipment.
• Conduct and support preparation work for bi-annual pest audit.
• Inspect and clear leaves in the drainage system on the roof.

Requirements:

• Experience in building maintenance
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and scaffolding

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Preparation of full set accounts

· Booking all entries into SAGE ACCPAC accounting system.

· Sending bulk billing from SAGE ACCPAC accounting system.

· Monitoring collection of payments.

· Responsible for processing of staff claims and payments

· Processing of Payments through internet banking.

· Preparation of GST submission.

· Develop and implement accounting systems, procedures, and internal control.

· Liaise with external auditors on all audit matters, and co-ordinate all functional responses to audit reports including follow-up on all outstanding issues.

SSiS is looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Engineer to primarily support the school in the area of the Microsoft 365 platform. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Microsoft 365 environment, other school management software, as well as IT devices and systems used in the school, to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations.

Your Responsibilities:

· Management of the Microsoft 365 platform, including Office applications, Teams, and SharePoint for staff.
