Job Description
- Coordinates with M&E subcontractors, project team architectural/ structural/ process/ mechanical/ ICA for design features to resolve all drawings, site/ technical issues, interface issues.
- Liaise and coordinate closely with clients, consultant representative (RE/RTO), and subcontractors on design, technical, site, and interface issues.
- Review BIM model, CSD/RCP drawing and chair M&E coordination meeting.
- Review shop drawings, detail drawings, and authorities’ submission drawings.
- Review technical data sheet/ catalogue, and material sample submissions.
- Produce, monitor and track a complete Engineering Log for M&E systems submissions including commissioning and closeout of the build.
- Prepare overall M&E micro program, and ensure M&E program in line with the project master schedule.
- Monitor the subcontractor progress against the project schedule.
- Work closely with RE/ RTO for installation and testing inspection and schedule.
- Plan, direct and coordinate onsite M&E activities to comply with specifications, requirements and codes.
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the project to ensure project progress on schedule.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with site photo.
- Attend all site meetings, technical meeting, and progress meeting with proper documentation arrangement (Weekly / Bi-Weekly/ Monthly).
- Work with SHE department to ensure that site activities comply with safety regulations.
- Involve in installation inspection, as well as testing and commissioning.
- Follow QAQC processes to ensure M&E systems installation and T&C meet project specification, standard, code of practice, and authorities’ requirement. Collaborate with QAQC department for effective installation and testing, as well as documentation.
- Prioritize safety by incorporating Design for Safety (DfS) in M&E system installation, considering risk assessments and hazard mitigation.
- Review As-Built Drawing/Model.
- Review and arrange off-site training / onsite training, and as well as O&M manual submission.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Building Service.
- Min 5 years' experience.
- Prefer the experiences with PUB and NEA projects or equivalent.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and P6.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant software.
- Good coordination and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work with a diverse team.
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible/ adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines.
- Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
