Job Functions & Summary:
Assist in the overall supervision of daily housekeeping operations. Responsible to ensure a clean, comfortable and safe environment for the Club members, guests, employees and business partners. Supervise the Facility Assistants and landscape contract workers, plans and assigns work assignments, give trainings to existing and new employees, inspects employees work assignments and Clubhouse areas, requisition of supplies, plan and maintain periodic housekeeping cleaning schedules.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
(1) Oversee the day to day operations of the housekeeping.
(2) Oversee the requirements and needs for daily banquet events relating to housekeeping.
(3) Work with the Housekeeping Supervisor to allocate work assignments on a daily basis and ensure optimum cleanliness and service standards.
(4) Ensure cleanliness of all premises including back of the house areas.
(5) Supervise and check Facility Assistant work assignment and work areas. Assist when necessary.
(6) Conduct training for existing and newly recruited employees.
(7) Conduct disciplinary counselling and take disciplinary action when needed.
(8) Evaluate Facility Attendant performance and up recommendations to Housekeeping Manager.
(9) Ensure Facility Attendants are properly attired and groomed in accordance to the Club standards and guidelines.
(10) Conduct daily briefing with the Facility Attendants.
(11) Daily routine walk through and inspections. Identify and detect defects and follow up with quick rectification.
(12) Work closely with maintenance team for defect rectifications.
(13) Promote safe working environment.
(14) Maintain inventory and conduct weekly stock check.
(15) Conduct and review risk assessment.
(16) Conduct daily briefings for the team.
(17) Plan the Facility Assistants schedules and manage employee days off and leave planning.
(18) Plan and execute supply requisitions.
(19) Responsible for the cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire Clubhouse, F&B outlets, Function Rooms, Grand Ballrooms, Meeting Rooms, Admin Offices etc.
(20) Maintain par stock of guest supplies and toiletries, cleaning supplies, uniform etc.
(21) Work closely with pest control vendor. Organize pest control and eradication activities with pest vendor.
(22) Supervise internal pest control measures and ensure routine control schedules executed, ensuring consistency.
(23) Conduct and supervise weekly periodic inspection schedules relating to pest control.
(24) Attend Pest Control Working Group meetings and/or other any other meetings when required.
(25) Assist purchasing department in selecting suppliers for items related to housekeeping.
(26) Supervise and plan landscaping activities for Clubhouse.
(27) Attending and resolving member complaints.
(28) Verification of supplies consignments.
(29) Review all housekeeping service, license contract terms and conditions.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
