Telephone screen applicants to qualify for essential experience, culture fit & logistics. Recommend suitable candidates to the HM for interview.
Arrange all interviews as requested by Hiring Managers ensuring candidates have accurate interview confirmation details.
Provide detailed feedback to external candidates after interviewing.
Ensure the Hiring Manager has provided feedback to internal candidates.
Maintain accurate records in the ATS at each stage of the recruitment cycle.
Provide advice to managers on market conditions, diversity issues, interview techniques, use of social media and keep managers regularly updated on all active projects, always managing their expectations.

Graduate Tutor & Studio Facilitator

Sessional hours, based at Northumbria University London Campus

As Graduate Tutor you will support students as a personal tutor and be responsible for providing appropriate, accessible and effective support to the students either directly or by signposting students to the advice and support available to them.

You will assist and facilitate students in creative studios to deliver a highly innovative learning environment on the flagship MSc Business With programme.

The programme is accredited by AACSB and the International Business Simulation is a newly designed, skills-based module delivering opportunities for authentic, simulated learning.

While working on the International Business Simulation module, students will work in teams and the Studio Facilitator/Graduate Tutor therefore is tasked with fostering inclusiveness within each of the teams and creating/ maintaining a dynamic learning environment where students are encouraged to be bold and learn from mistakes.

The studio facilitator should be agile and adept and reacting to situations to maximise team performance. Being a good studio facilitator requires hard work, great organisational skills, confidence with the simulation software (full training will be provided) and a creative, welcoming personality. Being a studio facilitator is an excellent way to develop your own research interests in simulation-based, practical learning pedagogies

Bring your experience:

You will be leading the government & Defence Services learning sales team and implementing the sales strategy in learning, including management responsibility to deliver growth across the government sector, win new clients and expand existing relationships to ensure current and future success against QA and client objectives.

Are you a recent graduate or an administrator looking for a new challenge in a rewarding higher education business. Your focus: As Lecturer, you will be responsible for our students' progression and academic achievement up to level 7 (postgraduate). Planning, preparing, teaching modules both online and in the classroom using our innovative delivery methods and cutting-edge curriculum. You will provide guidance and support to our students with your knowledge and expertise, powering each student's potential.
Bring your experience: Applicants should have suitable and relative experience in teaching general programming (e.g., Python) and with at least one speciality such as Cloud Computing or Web Development or Mobile Development or HCI/UX Networking or IOT or Cyber Security or Data Science or Big Data or DBMS or Relational Programming or Artificial Intelligence or Knowledge Engineering or Deep Learning or Information Systems. Must hold a Masters degree or higher in Computer Science/IT or related subject areas. A teaching qualification and HEA membership would be distinct advantageous.
Significant experience in face-to-face teaching of higher education students in classes of varying sizes within a subject area taught by the faculty is required.
Ability to demonstrate hands-on technical competencies is essential.
