Position description

There is an expectation that all Primary Teachers behave in a professional and positive manner and represent role models within the school. They will be familiar with NPSI policies and procedures and will always actively promote and reinforce the NPSI Vision and Mission.

In addition to pastoral duties, the class teacher is responsible for curating, delivering, and assessing the curriculum across the Primary School, as assigned by the Principal, and timetabled by the school. He/she works as part of a curriculum team to provide effective teaching and learning programmes focused on improving student engagement and achievement in one or more curriculum specialisms. An expert in their subject area they will contribute to the positive reputation of the school through their professional relationships with students, parents, and the wider community. Experience and Education

The appointed candidate should:

Music Teacher plus Additional Subject, English desirable.

We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic music teacher to initially grow and develop our co-curricular programme of music at the School. Music could be offered at IGCSE and beyond in the fullness of time, but initially the programme would be based around our co-curricular programme. The successful candidate would be expected to establish this programme of music and be an integral member of the Creative Arts Team. We would expect this teacher to be able to lead choirs, musical arrangements, assembly pieces, small orchestras and musical productions.
