EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Computer Studies or it’s equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ experience in programming on Windows (XP and above) environment.
• Good experience in C++, VC++, MFC, SQL and OOP.
• Good knowledge in developing multi-threaded control software, SEMI SECS/ GEM equipment connectivity standard and Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

1. Define and Document Equipment process requirement and specification.
2. Perform Process characterization to optimize critical process paths in order to meet equipment specification.
3. Review, simplify and optimize Internal Buy Off specification for equipment together with Quality Assurance Department.
4. Participate in continuous process improvement activities to enhance Equipment capability.
5. Support Equipment manufacturing activities by helping to trouble-shoot and resolve process-related issues
6. Support other internal departments to handle customers’ process related issues and recommend technical solutions
7. Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and conduct process capability studies
8. Transfer process knowledge to in house Engineers and Technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance.
9. Equipment UPH projection calculation base on specific process parameter.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Degree in Production / Mechanical / Material Science Engineering
2. At least 3 years experience in an equipment manufacturing environment with a process engineering and background
3. Strong interest in the development of new manufacturing processes
4. Experience in process design and control in the area of laser marking process.
5. Knowledge in Material Science will be added advantage.
6. Knowledge in cycle time calculation.
7. Trained in SPC, DOE and other statistical tools

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving issues arises from Jira and Windchill users

· Ensuring Jira and Windchill are up-to-dates by conducting regular maintenance tasks, monitoring system performance and applying upgrades(if applicable)

· Reviewing and approving requests from users

· Submit weekly/monthly progress reports

· Provide training and support for Jira and Windchill users

· Maintaining and update procedures/WIs related to Jira and Windchill applications

· Responsible for maintaining Jira & Windchill in accordance with MSPL’s standards and best practices

MAIN JOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

· Diploma / Degree in any Science / Engineering discipline.

· Min 3 years of experience in a Jira & Windchill Administrator role or similar

· Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, i.e, Excel, Words and Powerpoint.

3. Define software architecture and procedures as standard best practices for all design, coding, testing and deployment activities

4. Spearhead the research, development and deployment of new-generation software engineering technologies

(a) Technical Service Support

· Support Set-up, troubleshooting and identify problems for onsite software issues / problems encountered.

· Provide support to FSEs for onsite software related matters.

· Review machines log files, machine configuration and related machine information to identify problems areas for software related matters.

· Liaise with Engineering Software team to clarify customers’ request, issues, problems that are identified.

· Create User request, SIR (Software Issue Report) and needed information for Engineering software team to understand the requirement as to provide correct solution.

· Support bench or machine test for new release software before onsite implementation.

(b) Technical Training

· Provide technical training for FSEs / customers on Software related troubleshooting matters.

· Update and maintain all service-related documentation or reports in databases (e.g. customer feedback system) for effective recording, monitoring, and resolution for software issues.
