The Production Operator is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high-quality final products.  There are a variety of sub-classifications within the Operator job family that could range in specific duties from receiving and handling the raw materials, adding value through a variety of proprietary processes, to packaging the final product.  In all stages of production safety, attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to the success of the operation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: working safely and efficiently with calves, feeding calves, giving vaccinations and injections, power washing, general clean up, identifying illness in calves, data collection, and other duties as assigned. Employees will be required to be fitted for a half-mask respirator.

Required qualifications/competencies:

• High school diploma or GED

• Work on your feet for 5+ hours at a time

We're hiring a Feed Sales Representative- Purina Animal Nutrition to focus primarily on livestock feed sales with our partner co-op in the Northeast Nebraska area. This role focuses on selling feed and all related products that will optimize the cooperative/dealer’s market share and savings, improve the cooperative/dealer’s efficiency, and help to achieve the cooperative/dealers mission and goals.

This is a remote (virtual) field-based sales position that must be located within the geographic territory of Northeast Nebraska. Ideal candidates will be located the Brunswick area.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Calling on livestock animal owners (primary focus being beef cattle) to evaluate existing feeding programs, and to recommend and assist them with their nutritional programs.
• Selling/consulting at the farm gate (up to 25 farm calls per week) with the end goal of selling Purina products and programs and growing sales and market share. This includes developing new prospects and making sales cold calls.
• Organizing and conducting effective educational meetings/events for 4H clubs, saddle clubs, vets, trainers, lifestyle show clubs, etc. to enhance Purina's brand image, sell product and build store traffic with local co-op/dealer.

Experience/Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired.
• Candidates with a pending bachelor’s degree or candidates who possess proven sales and industry experience may be considered.
• Previous Sales experience highly desired
• Basic command of making nutritional and feeding recommendations to livestock animal owners in the market.
• Candidate should have an understanding of animal husbandry, current management practices, and nutritional guidelines, general market, and industry knowledge. Work/life experience in management and care of livestock.
• Competent in providing accurate feeding and management recommendations

We're hiring a Feed Sales Representative- Purina Animal Nutrition to focus primarily on wildlife (deer),  horse, and cattle feed sales with our partner co-op in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. . This role focuses on selling feed and all related products that will optimize the cooperative/dealer’s market share and savings, improve the cooperative/dealer’s efficiency, and help to achieve the cooperative/dealers mission and goals.

This is a remote (virtual) field-based sales position that must be located within the Rio Grande Valley.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Calling on wildlife (deer),  horse, and cattle owners to evaluate existing feeding programs, and to recommend and assist them with their nutritional programs.
• Selling/consulting at the farm gate (up to 25 farm calls per week) with the end goal of selling Purina products and programs and growing sales and market share. This includes developing new prospects and making sales cold calls.
• Organizing and conducting effective educational meetings/events for 4H clubs, saddle clubs, vets, trainers, lifestyle show clubs, etc. to enhance Purina's brand image, sell product and build store traffic with local co-op/dealer. 

Experience/Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field strongly desired.
• Candidates with a pending bachelor’s degree or candidates who possess proven sales and industry experience may be considered.

Job Description:

The Production Operator is the front-line employee who performs the manufacturing processes that add value and quality to the inputs and create the final high-quality final products. There are a variety of sub-classifications within the Operator job family that could range in specific duties from receiving and handling the raw materials, adding value through a variety of proprietary processes, to packaging the final product. In all stages of production safety, attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are key to the success of the operation.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm, varying schedule

Wage: $19.06 per hr.
