Job Description

• Conduct QC checks and testing to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Checks inclusive of incoming raw material testing, in-process testing, finished goods testing, product shelf-life testing, sensory evaluation of products.
• Conduct daily in-process quality control (QC) and hygiene inspections at production lines.
• Conduct daily microbiological tests on finished goods in compliance with internal specifications.
• Ensure related documents follow the requirement of FSSC, Halal and customer.
• Perform other QC checks as required or ah-hoc tasks as assigned by QA/QC manager from time to time.

Minimum requirement

• Junior / Entry Level
• Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma in Food Science/Food Technology or science-related disciplines
• Initiative, willingness to learn.
• Good working attitude, communication, and interpersonal skill.
• Able to multitask and work with other cross functional departments, good organizing skill.
• 6 days’ work week and able to perform late shift rotation.
• Able to converse in English and Mandarin.
• Familiar with the use of Microsoft Excel / Word.

Key Responsibilities:

1.ERP System Management:

• Oversee daily posted inventory transactions.
• Collaborate with ERP implementation team to resolve system issues.
• Ensure physical movement are being updated accurately into the ERP system on promptly basis, including:

1. Sales deliveries Finished Goods picking process
2. Incoming goods receiving registration process
3. Stock transfer between company and third-party warehouse
4. Support Material picking for production usage

• Reconcile any discrepancies between physical transactions and posted inventory movement in ERP system.

2.Inventory Management:

• Monitor minimum stock levels and report accurate inventory balances are up to date.
• Initiate materials transfer between warehouses as per production planning. Liaise with procurement team on the material delivery on time to ensure sufficient materials are available for production activities.
• Proper time management to ensure timely daily cut off and delivery of required materials to production floor.
• Communicate on changes to production schedules as per materials delivery schedule provided by supplier.

3.Storage Management:

• Work closely with the Senior Store Supervisor to manage the organization and arrangement of storage areas for efficient access and optimal space utilization.
• Coordinate storage planning to meet production demands and avoid bottlenecks.
• Ensure that materials and goods are stored according to safety standards and company policies.

4.Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations regarding logistics, storage, and third-party warehouse management.
• Monitor third-party warehouse capacity, costs, and service levels, and report any issues to management.
• Generate and maintain reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, storage utilization, and third-party warehouse metrics.
• Assist in audit preparation by providing accurate and up-to-date data for materials, inventory, and logistics activities.

5.Other duties assigned to you

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, especially warehouse management modules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· To maintain and support the R&D team in seasoning compounding, new development, and its application.

· To request for new raw materials sourcing for new product development to the Purchasing Dept.

· To handle all new raw material registration, documentation, and evaluation.

· To assist R&D team with QA/QC in new product development and product maintenance activities.

· Explore the application of existing products and processes.

· Processing sample request and sample submission as required by customer.

· To maintain the R&D laboratory and ensure cleanliness within the laboratory.

· Any other work as shall be assigned by the Company from time to time.

Requirements:

· Diploma in Food Technology/ Food Science.

· Minimum 1 year working experience in the Food industry.

· Relevant experience in product development for dairy products.

• Receive and process customers' order via email / phone/ whatsapp
• Answer phone calls & reply messages - Revert to customers' questions and enquiries via email / phone/ whatsapp.
• Assist the sales department with day-to-day sales administrative duties such as update prices and quotations into ERP system.
• Recording sample movement data whenever there are transfers of samples by sales personnels.
• Organize and maintain file and databases in a confidential manner
• Receiving delivery order and invoices and review price for accuracy
• Liaise with customer and warehouse/production department on delivery schedules based on inventory availability.
• Day to day administrative and other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.
