About the role

The role reports directly to the Estate Caretaking Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring our council estates and communal areas in housing estates are tidy, litter free, clean and safe. The role will sit within on of our Estates Caretaking Team who deliver a range of specialist services across the councils housing estates (communal areas only).
The range of services the team will deliver are: Litter picking, Clearing of external communal hard standing areas, Deep Cleaning, Bulk Removal, Minor Communal Repairs, Responding to other estate issues.

About you

You will have:

Experience of cleaning or caretaking, ideally in a social housing/commercial setting.
Knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations related to the caretaking of social housing and housing estates.
Ability to carry out a range of basic maintenance tasks.
Ability to work outdoors in all weathers and in an environment that may include potential exposure to hazardous substances and manual handling of heavy objects.
Proficient in using a smartphone/basic IT databases.
Good communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and appropriately with colleagues using the best methods of communication for the task.
A full driving licence.

About the Role

We are looking for a values based Quality Assurance Officer to join our team.

The post is hybrid, and the successful applicant will be expected to travel into Kingston up to twice a week to conduct Quality Assurance visits to Adult Social Care providers, as well as to work in the office at the Guildhall Complex up to twice a month. The day to day work includes:

Conduct Quality Assurance visits to providers of home care, care homes, supported living, and other sites.

Support providers in resolving concerns about their service

Support providers through the Provider Concerns Process, if serious risks are identified.

Support the team manager in facilitating meetings with stakeholders and forums with providers to raise awareness and share experiences.

About you

About the Role
We have an exciting apprenticeship opportunity within our Human Resources (HR) and Organisational Development (OD) Shared service. In this role, you'll get the opportunity to learn from our experienced team, gain valuable experience and work towards achieving a Level 3 or Level 5 CIPD accredited qualification in HR (candidates will be appointed dependent on their experience in HR to date).

About the Role
To take the lead role in managing the use of the Idox systems (Uniform, Idox DMS and other component modules) within Regulatory Services as well as managing a team which delivers high quality technical support to Regulatory Services, residents, businesses and the wider community across Kingston and Sutton.

About the Role
In order to fulfil this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication, assessment and case management skills. The New Malden Hub is a part of Adult Social Care within the Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK). We are one of three locality teams who support adults with physical health needs.

We are a friendly team of Social Workers and Support Co-ordinators that provides interventions for people with long-term care needs from the age of 18 and above. The primary client base is older adults and people with physical disabilities. The role offers an excellent opportunity to promote positive outcomes for individuals that we work with. This also involves being proactive in preventing harm from occurring to adults at risk.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames’ Adult Social Care Division (ASC) as Equipment Lead.

This is a unique role that supports a system wide approach across Health and Social Care to ensure the appropriate and cost effective prescription of assistive equipment and minor adaptations and ensuring excellence in this practice area.

You will be responsible for enabling evidence-based decision making for equipment provision and integral to this role is joint working with acute hospital colleagues, as well as a range of community health and social care professionals prescribing community equipment.

The Equipment Lead will work in partnership with Adult Social Care commissioning leads, contract leads, nursing leads, OT leads, and providers to support the governance, training and familiarisation of equipment and ensure robust standards of practice within the prescription process.

Main duties of the role:

This role will support the overall budget and resource management objectives also involving some duties towards management of the budget.
This role will form part of a strong collaboration, to ensure high quality, evidence based provision of equipment for residents of Kingston.
The role will assist in monthly reconciliations on the invoicing so as to help towards keeping on top of the spend.
The post holder will also deliver equipment training and demos.
The post holder will be responsible for organising and chairing the equipment operational meeting.
The role will deal with escalations and give advice on general equipment prescriptions and keeping the equipment catalogue up to date.
The post holder will be required to issue/allocate PINs correctly, clearing duplication, checking recycled equipment and monitor collections.
The post holder will liaise regularly with the commissioning lead to work on discrepancies with equipment billing backing data and assist with queries.
The Equipment Lead role will report to the OT manager, the equipment contract/ commissioning lead and work as part of the ASC Commissioning & Operational team structure.

About You:

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, driven, innovative and forward thinking Equipment Lead to join our service; to work under the direct supervision of the Principal Occupational Therapist and the Commissioning Lead.

Outstanding communication, problem solving, and clinical reasoning skills are vital for the success of this role.

As an autonomous role, you will be expected to hold a small caseload of complex cases, have extensive knowledge of community equipment and its application in supporting people to remain in the community, maintain engagement in purposeful activities and occupational pursuits

The contract is full time (36 hours) and is a 12 month fixed-term role.
