THE ROLE: Executive/ Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager, Events Management

An Overview

In our Shared Services department, we empower non-profits and social enterprises by providing affordable and professional services that are critical for their daily operations, such as bookkeeping, donation tracking, accounting to payroll and human resources support. By bridging this gap, we believe our social organisations are enabled to fulfil their social missions and scaletheir social impact.

We are currently looking for a Shared Services Accounts Associates, who will be responsible for assigned client portfolio as well as Internal Finance/Admin portfolio. You will be working together with our Client Services Managers / Assistant Managers / Executives to provide accounting, HR, and financial process improvement services to our non-profit and social enterprise clients. You will also assist with internal functions such as finance, accounting and administrative tasks for our company.

External client-facing scope:

THE ROLE: Regional HR Manager

We are currently looking for a Shared Services Accounts Associates, who will be responsible for assigned client portfolio as well as Internal Finance/Admin portfolio. • Compensation & Benefits
  • Assist in evaluating current compensation practices and recommend cost-effective, trend-aligned changes when needed.

  • Ensure appropriate and timely communications are received by offices in the region.
  • Champion a culture of equality, diversity, inclusion. Drive and communicate company's EDI initiatives across the region.
• Training & Development
  • Support talent growth and development by identifying training needs and coordinate development programs for employees within the region.
  • Ensure all mandatory online training modules are available and deployed to relevant employees and completed as required.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned.

• A recognized Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of regional HR business partnering experience.
• Hands-on experience in managing the full spectrum of HR functions and providing HR operational support and advice across the region.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Asia labour market, trends, practices and statutory legislations with priority focus on China, Japan, Korea and Thailand.
• Savvy and proven track record in stakeholder management and engagement across countries, with the demonstrated ability to advise, guide and influence at varying levels within the businesses, whilst assessing and advising on any potential risks.
• Proven experience in driving HR related changes and transformation.
• Prior experience in HR dashboard and analytics.
• Highly organised with strong business acumen and ability to align HR initiatives with organisational goals
• Good appreciation and understanding of different cultures
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders at all levels. Able to balance expectations of multiple stakeholders and effective at negotiating outcomes.
• Proficiency in Workday and Office 365 will be advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES

An Overview

In our Shared Services department, we empower non-profits and social enterprises by providing affordable and professional services that are critical for their daily operations, such as bookkeeping, donation tracking, accounting to payroll and human resources support. By bridging this gap, we believe our social organisations are enabled to fulfil their social missions and scaletheir social impact.

We are currently looking for a Shared Services Accounts Associates, who will be responsible for assigned client portfolio as well as Internal Finance/Admin portfolio. You will be working together with our Client Services Managers / Assistant Managers / Executives to provide accounting, HR, and financial process improvement services to our non-profit and social enterprise clients. You will also assist with internal functions such as finance, accounting and administrative tasks for our company.

Roles and Responsibilities

Your job role will cover:

External client-facing scope:

• Supporting in accounting, payment processing, grant administration, payroll, GST, and other shared services functions for our clients
• Supporting in attending to clients' accounting queries and requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintaining a good client relationship with our Shared Services clients and ensuring on time delivery of services
• Guiding volunteers and interns for delivery of services
• Assisting in ad-hoc Shared Services projects

Internal finance/admin scope:

• Supporting internal finance team in finance-related tasks (AR, AP, vendor & staff claims payment processing, bookkeeping, GST reporting)
• Supporting internal admin team in admin-related tasks (sourcing for office supplies, liaising with vendors, maintaining the office space, supporting in staff welfare activities, etc)
• Supporting in sales invoicing to clients
• Ensuring proper documentation of accounting files
• Assisting in other ad-hoc finance/admin tasks

• Accountancy or related discipline such as LCCI, CAT, Nitec or Diploma
• Min 1 year working experience in accounting and admin; fresh graduates are also welcomed
• Proficient and patient in communicating financial principles to stakeholders with no accounting background
• Familiar with cloud-based accounting and HR software; interested in constantly learning new skills
• Generally tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft applications
• Good interpersonal skills with a positive disposition
• Exhibit good ability to work as team
• Ability to multitask and adaptable to change
