RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to be part of the team that drives holistic partnerships towards better quality of life for Persons with Intellectual Disability (PWIDs) and their families. This role is critical in fostering positive relationships with corporations and government agencies to secure partnerships and grow the movement towards an inclusive community.

The position will play a key role in supporting/leading:

• Establishment/maintenance of strategic partnerships that align with MINDS' mission and partners' ESG and philanthropic goals. This includes driving sustained volunteerism and fundraising initiatives to support MINDS services/programmes.
• Tentpole fundraising and awareness campaigns, including events and initiatives.
• Implementation of donor and volunteer management frameworks to ensure good governance and sustained giving journeys with partners.

Partnership Development and Management:

• Identify, cultivate, develop and implement strategic partnership plans with corporations and government agencies that align their philanthropic goals with MINDS' mission and critical gaps.
• Engage internal stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of our cause, especially critical gaps that require support.
• Secure financial, in-kind and/or volunteer support for MINDS' services, programmes and initiatives.

• Work closely with relevant departments and entities in planning and execution, including Communications team to create and review content for marketing collaterals.

Fundraising & Donation Management:

• Communicate Donations Management SOP to internal stakeholders, address queries and provide support where necessary.
• Assist in the implementation and updating of Volunteer and Donor Management System (VDMS).
• Manage the fundraising pipeline, develop/implement innovative fundraising strategies, and track progress towards fundraising goals.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders on impact reporting for donor-funded programmes.

Volunteer Outreach and Management (Corporations and Government Agencies):

• Manage enquiries for organisation volunteering requests and partnerships.
• Work closely with other MINDS departments to ensure group volunteering sessions run smoothly and achieve optimal experience to foster long-term volunteerism.

Administration and Procurement:

• Assist in updating bi-monthly reports, decks and other support where applicable.
• Manage team procurement, particularly for events and other initiatives where necessary.

• Degree in Marketing / Business / Mass Communications, or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in partnerships, volunteer or donor management, event management and/or marketing communications.
• Self-starter with strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently within tight deadlines and limited resources.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Volunteer and Donor Management System, website builder and procurement systems strongly preferred.

• Assistant Senior Social Worker, Family Protection

  Job Purpose

  • Co-lead multi-disciplinary teams engaged in high-risk casework, family violence and other protection work, sexual assault recovery program.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to implement community development initiatives.
  • Provide practice supervision to junior Social Workers and support Senior/Lead Social Workers in elevating the standard of professional practice.

  Case Management

  • Conduct comprehensive risk and needs assessments, integrating a variety of information and utilizing appropriate risk and needs assessment tools and frameworks for all cases.
  • Conduct intake assessments for new intakes, assessing its service need and fit using organization's frameworks and risk assessment tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Programme Officer (Outreach and Engagement) works with their assigned centres to execute programmes to facilitate the interactions and engagement between the community and the clients/caregivers. He/she works with the community partners and volunteers for these outreach and engagement programmes and guides the centre and volunteers in executing the programme activities. He/she also collaborates and establishes relationships with volunteers, grassroots organisations, and community partners to fulfil MINDS' vision of outreach and serving the unserved and underserved segment of the ID population in Singapore through the centre's operations. He / she will work in close collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Allied Health Professionals such as the Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, physiotherapist, and / or Speech Language Therapist, and Training Officers when designing the programmes. Networking and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders within the community

• Develop and establish professional or social networks with the local community to leverage on community resources and volunteers to meet the various needs of the clients in the centre.
• Maintain and manage relationships with the community stakeholders for sustained efforts in volunteerism, and opportunities for clients in community participation, integration and inclusion
• Coordinate recruitment, deployment, training, and appreciation of community stakeholders

Run daily operations and activities at the Centre's Community Inclusive Space/Drop-in Centre

• Execute schedules and programmes for the clients, caregivers in the community inclusive space.
• Orientation, recognition and retention of volunteers and community partners

The Senior Care Associate (SCA) provides Home Based Therapy and Intervention and assistance to clients in their daily living and performs tasks according to the care plans developed by social service and/or healthcare professionals under Community Based Support Services (CSS).

CSS is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that response to emerging needs of PWIDs and Caregivers in the community. Examples of services include Me Too! Club, Homebased Care Services, Caregivers Support Services, Special Student Care Centres and Appropriate Adult Services to enhance integration and community living of caregivers and PWIDs in the community.

With the support of a team of Allied Health Professionals, the SCA maintains up-to-date documentation of clients' conditions and provides inputs for the development and review of care plans. He/She conducts activities for clients to promote independence, health, wellness, and quality of life and provides guidance to clients on personal and social skills, self-care and community living skills.

A caring, patient and responsible professional, the Senior Care Associates works in various voluntary welfare organisations, communities and institutional settings.

Website/Mailbox Management

• Manage SE E-commerce website for sales orders, promotions, new product listing, and last-mile delivery fulfillment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Operations Manager (OM) is to be responsible for the strategic management of the school environment, including estate, facilities, resources (inventories/supplies) and processes, to achieve school's objectives as well as day-to-day operations. The OM also plays a key role in school safety and security, overseeing risk-management, health matters and emergency preparedness processes.

As part of the management team, the OM will also contribute towards organizational decision-making and participate in general executive and non-executive functions that the team undertakes. The role will also include the reviewing and enhancement of systems by harnessing technology to improve productivity and efficiency.

The OM is also required to supervise and manage a team of cleaners and/or general workers.

The School aims to support students with intellectual disability including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from ages 7 through 18. Our staff are key in supporting our students towards becoming independent adults and community contributors.

Estate/Facilities Management:

• Execution of medium to long term (e.g. 3 years) localised facility planning and forecasting to develop the facility improvement roadmap for the school (including moving of school etc.)
• Forecast needs arising from the improvement, maintenance and upkeep of the school facilities on a yearly basis (eg budgeting for facilities management, maintenance & upgrading)
• Manage maintenance and improvement projects, check, renew and prepare maintenance contracts for works and supplies.
• Regularly check the premises for damages and ensure cleanliness and a safe learning environment.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders (e.g. MINDS HQ, MOE, SLA, BCA etc) to manage physical / technological infrastructure improvement and facilities maintenance works
• Documentation of building plans, school design, generic manuals, warranties project handing-over etc.
• Manage fault reporting and ensuring close follow up with term contractors
• Manage school facilities booking and evaluate to optimize use

School Safety and Security:

• Be part of the School Safety Committee as the School Safety and Security Liaison Officer, overseeing school safety and emergency preparedness to ensure the safety of all in the event of emergencies and heightened health and safety risk situations
• Manage all SOPs for emergency preparation, readiness and response
• Work closely with MOE's School Safety & Emergency Preparedness Department
• Conduct Safety, Security and Emergency Preparedness audits, including internal and external exercises
• Perform the role of Fire Safety Manager to assist and advise school leaders on fire safety measures in accordance to the Fire Safety Act.
• Ensure proper maintenance of fire equipment and update of escape routes maps

• Ensure regular maintenance of security systems, CCTVs, fire alarms and operations check with security agencies

Support for Student Safety:

• Work with school leaders, teachers and social workers to manage students at risk (eg accompany social workers for home visits, accompany student to seek emergency medical treatment) when necessary
• Assist with discipline / behaviour regulation and maintenance of order of students for safety

Management of Assets, Resources / Supplies:

• Ensure physical sighting and tagging of all fixed asset
• Manage the procurement, maintenance and condemnation of fixed asset
• Ensure proper inventory management procedures.
• Ensure the maintenance and security of LAN room
• Ensure the maintenance and security of storage of IT equipment, furniture store, PE equipment and all fixed assets

• Collaborate with other departments (such as the Employment Development Centres, MINDS Institute, Caregiver Support Services, Me-Too Club, Strategic Development) to provide holistic & other positive student outcomes such as caregiver support, self-advocacy, peer support group & socio-recreational opportunities & student success stories to empower & engage student

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years working experience.

• A strong team-player with excellent people skills. A self-motivated and independent individual.
• Willing to think out of the box when working with people with intellectual disabilities.
