- Provide RFQ, source rate with airline and oversea agents

- Daily shipping co-ordination of AIR/SEA/Cross Border /3RD PARTY shipments

- To handle billing advise and recoveries

- Administrative support (filing, circulation, preparation/generate report and etc.)

- To undertake new projects/new assignment given from time to time

- To represent sales department in various taskforce/committee

- Other duties as assigned by the Department Manager

Specific Job Role/Scope:

• Work together as a team at Import Billing section. Generate invoices, resolving customer questions and liaise with account holders on quotation.
• Liaise with Finance department on invoice approval and maintain good communication and teamwork with other departments.
• Accountable to Import Team Leader for the efficient operation of Import Services - Import Billing

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Performing day to day billing operations.
• Checking invoices and its accuracy.
• Sending of E-invoices to customers and overseas agents within deadline.
• Liaise with finance department on recovery matters.
• Submit monthly report.
• Monitor shipments pending for Routine Order advice.
• Attend to enquiries, complaints and request from inter department / within department / customers and overseas agent.
• Attend import monthly meeting.
• Undertake projects / work improvement.
• Assist Manager / Supervisor to enforce operational system/requirements.

Job Requirements:

. Min. 1 year experience in airfreight industry

. Min. 1 year experience in billing

. 5.5 working days (Alternate Saturday)

1. Responsible for managing Accounts Receivables (AR) & Management Information System (MIS).

2. Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations related to Accounts Receivable and MIS.

3. Conduct a monthly review of AR accounts with other teams.

4. Ensure accurate and timely updates of receipts into system for OPs to review AR outstanding.

5. Liaise with customer and bank where necessary.

6. Identify improvement in work processes to keep up with changing business needs.

7. Responsible for Monthly/Year-end financial closing reporting and ensure all reporting/schedules are accurately and promptly prepared.

Additional Task:

1 Liaise with internal/ external Auditors for audit queries.

2. Ensure Standard Operating procedures and Knowledge Articles are up to date and properly documented.

3. Any other task as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Qualification & Work Experience

• Possess Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Banking, Businessor other quantitative fileds, and at least 3 years work experience in AR
• Demonstrated ability to leads team.

Technical Skills

• Meticulous and handles transactional level work.

• Must be proficient in MS office suite specifically Excel (VBA, macros), PowerPoint and Word.
• Working knowledge of CargoWise would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist wiith aspects of financial accounting records, AR and AP management and reconciliation - including posting, verification, payment, offsetting, filing, AR chaser/follow up, contra.
• Ensure timely AR/AP financial reporting for month end and year end - provide inputs for unpaid status e.g. actions taken, timelines, disputes, etc.
• Ability to develop good practices, policies and procedures to ensure proper internal control for balance sheet / profit & loss.
• Analyze and provide financial data to management in timely manner.
• Handle any other general office administration.
• Lead year end activities and financial information requested by auditors.
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders to ensure on time monthly account settlement.
