HANDBACK ENGINEER

Job Description :

• Supervise, inspect and certify that the completed/renewed track is fit for purpose upon completion of work.

Coordination Manager

Job Responsibilities :

• Develops and maintains a detailed project schedule which includes administrative tasks and all sites AND other non GATES PCM contractors involved in the project.
• Participation in Project Team Meetings.
• Coordinate meetings, including travel arrangements and expense reports.
• Maintain Project Co-ordination Calendars.
• Sites include all work sites, survey locations including TSA and logistics dispatch and receiving locations, and facilities.
• Ensure coordination of the interfaces of Project with SMRT combined programme of works, Outside Contractors, Material suppliers and In house Operations.
• Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, presentations and tables.
• Also included is the in depth liaison with all contractors to collate, disseminate and identify opportunities for betterment of the project programme and logistics.

RRV Operator

• Operate “on track machines” (OTM/ RRV) in accordance with Necessary Railway Standards and in possessions to the instructions of the Rail Operations Manager and Controller of Site Safety.

• Take ownership of the appearance and operation of the machine for each shift that you are operating it
• Complete and Maintain a machine Log for each shift

• To handle situations, incidents, accidents and implement recovery measures in a calm and systematic manner
• To perform physical works in construction environments

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate supplier and subcontractors teams, activities and costs as related to the programmes, specification and safety requirements that the works relate to.
• Prepare the subcontractor bill of quantities, specifications, contracts and programmes and schedules for the tender/works
• Monitor and measure contractors works and assist the QS to certify valuations
• Preparation of Cost value reports
• Ensure the periodic reviews of suppliers and sub-contractors
• Co-ordinate project teams and assess the works
• Attend daily and monthly meetings as required by contract and operations
• Ensure contractors conform to and submit all relevant SHEP documents as necessary
• Assist in preparation of project budgets and monitor the monthly actuals against planned
• Obtaining of quotations and sourcing of items required by the operations
• Provide technical information on specifications supply and logistics arrangements facilitating efficient procurement, clearance, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment, in support of the projects and requirements of the company.
• Perform regular market research to identify and recommend potential local suppliers.
• Maintain data and evaluate local suppliers overall performance.
• Ability to create and/or modify existing designs and models
• Ensure drawings and designs meet project/tender deadlines
• Exposure to various industry design CAD practices and work cultures
• Ensure design review and acceptance process complies with approved system

Qualifications:

•  A degree in quantity surveying/research or any related field, Recognized by the BCA
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Tools
• Knowledge and hands on experience in Auto-Cad/ Microstation, Revit, would be an advantage
• Experience in 2D & 3D Auto Cad drafting
• Mins 5 years relevant experience in quantity surveying, BOQ, supplier and sub-contractor management
• Relevant experience in construction and in track work will be an advantage
