Ron Johnson is a highly specialised HIV/ Oncology/ Dermatology ward consisting of 19 en-suite side rooms. We are a tertiary referral unit for HIV and HIV related malignancy.

We are a dynamic ward and provide care to patients with varied nursing needs including, administering chemotherapy for patients as an in-patient, delivering excellent patient centered palliative care while supporting families through this often difficult time, we provide care for HIV positive patients and manage their various health needs. Clinical Responsibilities

· To offer parents of all eligible babies the Newborn Hearing Screen whilst ensuring maximum number of inpatient babies receive a hearing screen by working flexibly where necessary.

· To maintain confidentiality of the babies and their families at all times.

· To answer any concerns parents may have prior to the screen being undertaken and communicate results in a sensitive and timely manner.

· To ensure the hearing screening programme is carried out as per national and local protocols.

· To monitor compliance with Trust Mandatory training for NHSP Staff across the Trust’s Hospitals site, providing the Programme Manager with regular reports on non-compliance and relevant action plans.

The Hand Therapy Team at the Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opening for either an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with previous experience in Hand Therapy to join our team.

The role includes a varied patient caseload of trauma and acquired conditions of the hand and wrist, from both Orthopaedic and Plastic Hand Surgeons. Hand therapy is carried out in closed trauma fracture clinics, on the ward, and in out-patient settings for post-operative and non-operative patients. The team comprises 16 qualified therapists and a therapy assistant. There is regular MDT teaching and support for learning through in-service training and supervision.

Fixed-Term/Secondment: 12 months

We are looking for an Ophthalmic Nurse Practitioner who has experience in intravitreal injections, POA/Biometry and pre/postoperative review of patients who have undergone cataract surgery.

This position will clinically support the ophthalmology department and will be responsible for transforming the way in which we provide ophthalmology services at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital through application of Royal College and national recommendations such as Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) to deliver a sustainable and modern ophthalmology department.

An opportunity has arisen to join the Planned Care Surgery Operational team as an Assistant Service Manager in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital supporting Ophthalmology, Pain and Plastic Surgery services.

Operational Management
• Provide hands-on operational management to designated areas of the Division, ensuring the delivery of services in line with expected service standards.

We are very excited to be expanding our Advanced Clinical Practitioner workforce in our high achieving and friendly Trauma and Orthopaedics team. We are looking for a qualified ACP, who is looking for a new challenge and will be focused on the care of elective orthopaedics patients, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Clinical Provision & Expert Practice

Clinical• To carry out the appropriate procedures and related tasks that have been selected and delegated by the therapist with the appropriate level of competency. Accountable to the General Manager, and working in partnership with Service Directors and Matrons, the Deputy General Manager (DGM) will support in the operational delivery of Emergency and Acute services, focussing on delivery of the A&E waiting time standards, financial performance, governance, change and business development across the directorate. Monitor projects to ensure that they are on target to deliver the proposed business benefits.



Assist in benefits identification and realisation including the compiling of the benefits register.



Coordinate the design, development and testing of systems, ensuring the deployed product meets the needs of users and stakeholders and is ultimately fit for purpose from both business and clinical perspectives.



Identify system enhancements and changes and escalate via the appropriate channels e.g. Request for Change, Contract Change Notice.



Responsibility and management of part of a budget.



Responsibility and management of digital systems within the post holders remit.



Training key stakeholders as required.
