Broadway Gaming is looking for an experienced & hands-on Security engineer to assist us in transitioning to cloud architecture, secure environment to multiple security audits, and consistently maintaining security posture.
As a Security Engineer, you will implement security solutions and set the best practice security settings that fit security certifications and business needs to reduce risks. Monitor and maintain the day-to-day operations of the corporate and production security solutions, and continuously communicate with CISO, SOC, and NOC teams and with other team leaders to ensure smooth low-risk operation. In addition, be a focal point for security improvements and incident response for external security teams during incidents, day-to-day operations, threat hunting, and other security duties in the security technology field.
This is a technical role, so it will require proven hands-on experience, alongside the ability to communicate, deliver, and support the monitoring, visibility, operation, and reporting for all security solutions being implemented in the company by internal and external teams. Proven understanding of security technologies and processes in on-prem and cloud solutions.
Responsibilites:
- Take responsibility implementation and maintenance of security technologies.
- Maintain security best practices led by market and CISO.
- Ensure compliance of the environment to security certifications
- Work with CISO, architects and developers to cover security aspects during the lifecycle of the infrastructure, applications, and other related services.
- Deploy and maintain security events and alerts when taking care of incidents.
- Provide statistics and relevant information on the security posture of security solutions and internal/external activities.
- Research and integrate new tools
- Five years of experience in security positions
- Experience with on-prem and cloud technologies
- Experience with Microsoft and Linux
- Experience in AWS infrastructure and security solutions – must (Azure, GCP – advantage)
- Hands-on production troubleshooting experience
- Proven experience in deployment and operating security solutions (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Intune, Sentinel – advantage)
- Microsoft Office 365 Security Center – must
- Scripting and basic codding - advantage
- Broad knowledge of infrastructure components
- Deep system and networking understanding
- Proactive attitude towards improving processes and finding new solutions to challenging business problems.
