As an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will hold a formal qualification such as HNC in a relevant subject, with previous substantial quantity surveying experience within the construction industry. Full Time – 40 Hours Per Week

We are looking to recruit a Repairs Supervisor to join our team in Waltham Forest.

About the Role

Joining us as Repairs Supervisor, you will lead a team as part of a project or defined work stream, driving excellent service standards and achievement of KPI’s. You will assess resource requirements and support the management of the day-to-day activity, ensuring that all team objectives are met within overall time, cost and budget constraints.

You will manage team performance in line with company policy, ensuring they are clear in terms of their roles and responsibilities. You’ll hold regular review meetings and coach, mentor and motivate staff, ensuring development needs are identified. You’ll also be responsible for resolving any complaints, informing management, and implementing action plans to address any areas of dis-satisfaction.

About You

Candidates will have significant technical knowledge and extensive proven experience. With a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), or equivalent and sound knowledge of construction methods, technology and materials, you’ll have excellent time management, good IT skills and be proactive and flexible with great influencing skills. You will also hold a Level 3 trade or Supervisor NVQ and Gold CSCS card.

We’re looking for someone who has a compelling track record of asset / project management and delivering major works contracts, and who has a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for their work, committed to collaborative working with colleagues, suppliers, and residents alike.

You must hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.

Lecturers in Health & Social Care (permanent, full-time)

You will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both learners and colleagues, with an imaginative approach to teaching that generates creative lessons to fully engage and inspire 16-18 and 19+ students on courses ranging from L1 through to HE.

Experience in the following would be desirable:

· Working within the health and social care sector
· Experience of teaching CACHE/NCFE
· Working in the NHS with the ability to teach anatomy and physiology
· Sociology/Psychology teaching experience

Permanent – Full Time

We are looking to recruit two Labourers to join our team to cover the Waltham Forest area which includes CM15, CM11 and SS11.

About the Role

As one of our Labourers, you’ll work to deliver the highest quality service and carry out a variety of technical services tasks.

Working efficiently and safely in line with best practice, you’ll be clear and clean properties, to include external spaces, outside of properties and loft spaces, you will remove all furniture, white goods, carpets and general waste. You will also be required to assist with our Multi-Trade team on large scale works as and when required, with knowledge of hand held PDA devices.

About You

Previous experience as a general labourer is preferred but not essential along with holding a current CSCS card. We do however ask that you are able to operate small hand tools as well as a hand-held cordless drill

A full UK driving licence is essential.
