Design Coordinator

The Role:

As part of the Engineering function based in our Southern Region, the Design Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating design aspects throughout the project lifecycle. The Design Coordinator will support the Design Manager in overseeing the delivery of the design and technical solutions for our various projects across a number of clients. Their contributions will help to make sure this aspect of the project is completed on program and on cost, ensuring safety and quality through design, and achievement of outcomes.

The role includes aspects of design management and looking at technical solutions as well as supervising the inputs of various consultants and disciplines including environmental, archaeological and planning. You will also work closely with our construction teams to ensure designs meet requirements.

The Design Coordinator will have the opportunity to work on Water and Wastewater schemes with various clients across our Southern Region.

• Coordinate design in line with the budget and programme, ensuring compliance with the project requirements, standards and specifications.

Project Manager

The Role:

The Project Manager is to deliver multiple ongoing projects, to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance. The role also involves working closely with the Estimating Department, engineers, and surveyors to ensure that projects are completed safely, whilst ensuring customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

• General management
  Produce financial forecasts, monitor and control project costs and cost reporting, and produce monthly reports to the Contracts Manager on project performance, efficient team building and labour organisation

The Role:

The Role:

The main purpose Site Agent will be responsible for the management of the construction site to achieve the required project delivery to the customers’ objectives while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact, and cost control. The Role:

The purpose of the role of General Foreperson is to ensure the delivery of projects safely, on time, within budget and snag-free. The post-holder will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the work of all site operatives.

Sub Agent

The Role:

What you will be doing as our new Site Manager?

Based on designated sites, you’ll lead supervisors, delivery teams and subcontractors ensuring resources are utilised to an optimum level to meet budgets and delivery programmes to the highest quality and safety standards.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring operational issues are flagged to Project Delivery Managers whilst encouraging your team to work in a proactive and innovative fashion to solve on-site issues and keep projects on track.

Responsibilities:

• Provide active positive leadership of Health & Safety on site to support and continue the industry-leading low incident frequency rate we have
• Responsible for driving cultural change into the Delivery/Design Teams to eliminate/minimise physical and nonphysical waste – i.e., recycling techniques and standing time etc
• Oversee the management of site-based Supervisors, Delivery Teams, and relevant areas of the supply chain to drive timely completion of projects, safely and within budget
• Coach and mitigate underperformance of site team members to reduce the possibility of conflict and optimise performance
• Ensure all initiatives are supported and implemented with minimal disruption by understanding preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions

The Role:

The Quantity Surveyor will provide commercial support to project teams, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and the Company’s ‘Three Pillar’ objectives. They will liaise with customer representatives and other third parties on commercial issues including agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.
