As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a key role in driving business partnership within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and ensure effective budgeting and forecasting processes. This position requires a strong understanding of business and financial analysis, budget management, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership:

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insight and recommendations that drive company growth, profitability, and sustainability.
• Monitor industry trends and economic conditions, providing guidance on risk management and investment opportunities.

2. Business Partnership:

• Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, providing financial guidance, insights, and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial strategies and drive initiatives to achieve financial goals.
• Assist in evaluating business cases for new projects, product launches, and other investments.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration between finance and other departments to align financial objectives with operational activities.

3. Business Analysis:

• Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

• Collaborate with business leaders to develop financial models, evaluate business performance, and provide insights for decision-making.

• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, identify trends, and highlight areas of risk or opportunity.

• Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to support strategic initiatives and evaluate investment opportunities.

• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and other stakeholders.

4. Budget Management:

• Oversee the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets.

• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to track and control expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.

• Develop and implement budgeting policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.

5. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly/quarterly management reports, financial statements, and ad hoc analyses as required.

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal financial policies.

6. Risk Management:

• Identify business risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and maximize profitability.

7. Team Management and Development:

• Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.

• Set performance objectives, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing feedback to support professional growth.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

To put into practice EHS activities in compliance with local regulations, customers as well as Avery Dennison corporate policies. The incumbent will assist management in Audit from internal/external parties and aid in achievement of all EHS performance objectives. The incumbent will effectively coordinate shift/team safety & environmental activities, programs and processes in a manner consistent with role expectations and ensure regular adherence to standards while promoting a safe, clean and productive workplace. This role is not limited in factory but in MSEA region.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Implement Company EHS programs and develops facility specific procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory and Company requirements.
• Leading/ supporting to implement requirements, programs, Audits from customers regarding Health, Safety and Environment.
• Assist EHS Manager to develop and maintain EHS system.
• Maintain fire alarm and fire fighting system, as well as ERT are ready at all time.
• Participate in development of EHS program components: operational procedure, work instructions, training material, standards, etc.
• Integrate Company and facility level EHS management systems to maintain compliance, environmental protection and safe operating conditions.
• Compile process safety information for each covered process and keep readily accessible to process employees and management as well as updated on an annual basis.
• Use a structured processes score card to measure and communicate safety/environmental performance with both leading results and indicators.
• Manage CAP and coordinate with relevant departments for timely closing.
• Serve as a resource to the site manager in regards to EH&S matters and act as a daily point of contact for all EH&S issues. Assists line and staff management in understanding EHS regulations and standards, including guidance on handling Avery Dennison (AD)compliance, inspections, and citations.
• Provides advice and counsel to product and process engineers and leads to incorporate environmental health and safety principles and concepts to prevent workplace, operational hazards and environmental impacts
• Implements environmental, health and safety education and training to support regulatory and business requirements.
• Act as a resource and mentor to facility safety teams. Investigate all releases, injuries and near-misses.
• Leading project or program as assignment from EHS manager.

• Focus on RFID technology quality and methodologies for inlay, converting, print/encode in S.Asia (e.g. VN, TH, BD, PK, ID, MY) and Pacific countries (AU, NZ), for a range of industries such as , Apparel & Retails industry (including Licensed Channel Partners).

• Identify, document, and enforce compliance to customer’s quality requirements for related functional stakeholders in driving business project success to build credibility with the clients.

• Manages clients(s)’ complaint resolution process, while also supporting Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to resolve product quality issues.

• Drive Functional stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction with the quality and agility of solutions responses & initiatives.

• Ensure timely deliverables of key escalated quality issues by interacting and driving root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and/or countermeasures with production and local QC personnel, Suppliers, and other functions as needed( PLT, R&D)..  

• Devise and implement world-class quality knowledge and practice (e.g., 8D, Pareto Analysis, Histograms, Cause & Effect Diagrams, PFMEA / QCP, SPC / Cpk, etc.) leveraging on other key functional teams.

• Organize regular reviews with regional inlay manufacturing sites to understand performance metrics and best practices sharing. Ensure end-to-end quality in the RFID manufacturing process by monitoring and auditing production facilities.

• Ability to lead and drive key projects with function lead to support continuous improvement and overall global quality strategy.

• Coordinate, document, and enforce the efficient information flow of product specifications and quality control plans with key business function teams such as R&D, Platform, Operations, and Product Line Management.

• Knowledge of Quality standards and test procedures as necessary to comply with Quality system requirements (i.e. ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001, IATF, etc). Lead auditor Certification preferred. 

• Other tasks assigned by the Global Quality leader.

The Buyer is responsible for the purchasing and scheduling of materials, services, and supplies to serve plant manufacturing in compliance with company policy.

• To perform variety of purchasing duties.
• Negotiate with vendor for pricing term and commercial condition.
• Checks deliveries of material ordered and shipment received.
• Contact and follow up with supplier to assure the merchandises arrive according to the agreed date (and work out alternative date if incurs).
• Coordinate return of rejected or unsuitable/nonconforming merchandises.
• Respond to requests for purchasing data and status of material activities.
• Maintains records and files related to purchasing information according to ISO requirement.
• Compiles records and tracks purchasing activities and pricing data.
