We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong Solution Architecture capabilities to lead the front-end development of our small, agile team. You will work together with a group of UX Designers and UX Engineers, ensuring that our solutions are scalable, technically sound, and compatible with cross-division systems. This hybrid role requires hands-on technical leadership, architectural oversight, and an understanding of WCAG standards and accessibility best practices. This role will be offered as a 2-year contract.

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Lead the UX Engineers in delivering high-quality, scalable front-end code
• Ensure that development process follows best practices for maintainability, performance, security, and accessibility
• Provide mentorship to the team, reviewing code, and helping solve technical challenges
• Evaluate cross-division systems and existing infrastructure to ensure compatibility and integration of proposed solutions

You will thrive in design sprints and lean UX methodologies as we tackle ambiguous problems and deliver workable prototypes that are executable. A brief summary of your job responsibility:

Within Your First Month:

• Gain a solid understanding of the project roadmap, team vision, rituals, and design process
• Create user experiences that are accessible to all users, including those with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments. Ensure designs comply with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and other relevant accessibility standards
• Independently manage research and design tasks with confidence
• Engage with both external and internal stakeholders, co-facilitating workshops as needed

By the End of 3 Months:

• Propose research and design plans for new projects, becoming deeply involved in all aspects of design work

• Successfully conclude a project with a convincing presentation and a meticulous handover plan, ensuring continuity of design excellence with A11Y in mind

Beyond That:

• Keep up to date with the latest trends, tools, and regulations in accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring our products remain compliant and innovative
• Document accessibility requirements, patterns, and best practices. Advocate for inclusive design principles across the team and organization

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Migration Engineer) to join us!

• Work with Agency IT on the IT onboarding and enablement of Agencies' endpoint to the central architecture in a phased approach, ensuring a smooth transition for each agency.
• Work closely with Agency IT to whitelist network access for applications, including network configuration changes, connectivity testing, troubleshooting, and integration with SSO, to ensure seamless integration to the central architecture.
• Work with Agency IT on the device provisioning process using Windows Autopilot and coordinate the central provisioning of laptops, if applicable.
• Work with Agency IT to troubleshoot app packaging issues and ensure the compatibility and functionality of the applications on the new endpoint solution.

Requirements

• Comfortable with a 1.5-year direct contract
• At least 5 years of experience in the above domain areas
• Proven track record of large-scale ICT migration projects, particularly in the deployment of endpoint, end user services, or security solutions.
• Good understanding of endpoint management, endpoint security, and network solutions including Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, M365 services, Entra ID, SSE technologies, DNS, and network architecture.
• Experience in network troubleshooting for endpoints and applications.

• Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on Cybersecurity matters

• 5+ years’ relevant ICT experience, including experience working in the public sector at WOG level; or for multinational corporations or tech organisations at a country or regional level customer success enablement or accounts management.

As part of the IT Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for enterprise data backup protection and to optimized end-to-end Enterprise backup operations to support the digitalisation requirements of MPA. In addition, you will:

• Ensure that IT infrastructure projects are implemented within schedule, in accordance to the requirements, quality and security standards of the Authority and Whole of Government (WOG).
• Manage the day-to-day Storage and enterprise backup administration
• Identify, explore and introduce new technologies for better scalability, resiliency and performance of the IT infrastructure, while ensuring a sustainable and lower cost of ownership of the IT infrastructure.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of backup jobs on platforms (Windows, VMware, Nutanix and UNIX/Linux servers)
• Manage and support Storage systems, including patch management remediation, capacity planning, configuration management, provisioning and zoning of new servers on SAN switches.
• Installation, configuring and troubleshooting of Windows Servers, MS Failover Cluster, Veritas Storage system & Hitachi SAN
• Troubleshooting of VERITAS NetBackup and SAN issues
• Analyse backup software performance and monitoring of scheduled backups to ensure success or take remedial action for backup failures
• Monitor usage and performance of storage and perform capacity planning for storage growth
• Manage storage and backup changes through change request process & provide status reports to the relevant parties.
• Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated
• Manage backup replication and data movements during activities such as disaster recovery
• Perform regular DR (Disaster Recovery) test plan of backup data restoration and storage replication availability.
• Monitor the agreed service level, document & maintain the configuration of the systems; provide regular reporting to relevant parties
• Manage the technology refresh plan to ensure software and hardware compliance
• Responsible for performing Backup ad-hoc operational tasks and maintaining availability at the POCC sites.
• Ensure compliance with internal Quality Management System and Government IM8 and CSA requirements for IT and cybersecurity.
• Work closely with colleagues, developers, testers and users to ensure technical compatibility on infrastructure and application systems integration and user satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in storage and backup administration in large or complex environment.
• Strong knowledge in Veritas Netbackup / Veeam / Dell Tape Library / Hitachi VSP, HUSVM, Brocade and Cisco SAN switches
• Knowledge in OS Windows / Linux / UNIX / Virtualization platform / SQL databases

Middleware Administration

• Responsible for providing technical services to support environment provisioning, software integration and projects from deployment planning, setup & testing, pre-production readiness to production cutover;

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of Middleware support experience, preferably in large-scale government projects;

• Strong understanding of high-availability architectures. Hands-on experience in Clustering, Load Balancing and failover management;
• Work under minimal supervision and take ownership of middleware incidents end to end
