Job Purpose / Role:

Build strong relationships and proactive engagement with Clients, Brokers, and Underwriters. Be the focal contact point for all services relating to Multinational Program. Perform front-to-end activities for Multinational accounts prospect, submission, renewal to expiration. Attend client/broker meetings and support Allianz Commercial business development activities, including presenting and demonstrating our global capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for multinational insurance programs & policies of medium to high complexity (i.e., complex reinsurance panels). Review and interpret source underwriting materials regarding completeness of required information - including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files and accounts / claims experience – and if required, escalation to UW in case of missing information.
• In case of AZ multinational programs, provide recommendations to UW on program structure (i.e., Deal support), steering of implementation globally, including providing instructions to all involved SOEs, reconciliation of all issues and addressing questions regarding cover and wording with UW. Ensure all local policies are issued in a timely fashion and client expectations are met.
• Ability to handle new business multinational submissions independently and ensure smooth a smooth program implementation for our brokers and clients.
• Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including Underwriting, Accounts / Credit Control, Reinsurance Accounts, Clients, and Brokers and attend relevant internal and external meetings. Regular and extensive exchange with clients regarding all account specific matters
• Acting as mentor / trainer for new joiners.
• Using all relevant information to populate IT system(s) accurately and efficiently with new and renewed business. Invoice customers and produce all relevant documentation, e.g., policies, certificates, endorsements to broker (or client), co-insurers, captives, and re-insurers. Compiling of standard and non-standard policy wordings. Regular reconciliation and discussion of content with UW and broker/customer.
• Chase and reconcile premiums exploiting underwriting file and system entries in close collaboration with Credit Control. Liaise with brokers and/or Underwriters, to ensure timely premium payment. Coordinates premium chasing and reconciliation activities. Work directly with brokers on a daily basis and ensure a high level of multinational client services is provided.
• Contribute to projects and as ad-hoc request as required.

Key Experience / Requirements / Skills:

• Experience in working in an international environment.
• 3 to 5 years prior working in insurance, reinsurance or broking industry.

Technical Skills

• Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office applications and experience of relevant business applications and systems.
• Ability to continuously develop technical and systems knowledge, business, and insurance understanding.
• Good understanding of relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages.

Our Allianz Risk Consulting (ARC) team is made up of experienced engineers from a wide range of technical and scientific disciplines and provides a flexible range of risk consulting services, from natural hazards, fire safety, and human and organizational risk factors to in-depth analysis of industry operations, and financial exposures, across all industry sectors and risks.

The Impact You Will Have

As one of the ARC Global Heads, you will be responsible for providing and then driving through the strategic vision of ARC, and your specific focus will be on Natural Resources & Construction. Working with our Underwriting teams, you will ensure that ARC deliverables are fully aligned with Underwriting and client needs.

You will deliver our global business objectives, driving improvement throughout the ARC operations, and leading any required change management across ARC globally; you participate very actively in ARC Council Meetings, allocate ARC resources according to strategic decisions and empower the managers reporting into you to take up the challenges with success.

You are also the main spokesperson, a global ambassador and arbitrator for ARC in all business issues for Natural Resources and Construction.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

What You’ll Bring to the Role

We are looking for an experienced risk engineer in large corporate insurance, ideally with senior management or strategy-setting experience. You come with 10 to 15 years’ experience in the field, expert knowledge of the technical and commercial business needs and the capacity to inspire our ARC engineers in the Natural Resources and Construction lines of business around the world. You bring:

• Exceptional ability to communicate ideas and messages clearly, both in writing and verbally
• Proficiency to deliver compelling and persuasive presentations to captivate the audience

Job Purpose / Role:

The Head of CEO Office is heavily involved in supporting the Regional MD with the articulation of strategic direction, planning and overall execution of the business plans in Asia. He/She plays an important role in contributing towards the region's overall business performance by working alongside the regional management team on a variety of business topics.

On a day-to-day basis, he/she ensures that the Regional MD can focus on strategic matters by processing delegable tasks, while also participates in important projects where involvement of the Regional MD is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the interests of the Regional MD and serves as a communication interface/link for the in- and outgoing information of the Regional MD office and especially for communication with the respective Board Unit as well as country and regional managers, as appropriate. These include:

1. Coordinate inputs from the Heads of Departments and country/regional managers for internal/external communication.

Job Purpose / Role:

To execute profitable growth strategy for Cyber and Tech PI in Southeast Asia for AZ Commercial. Underwrite profitable new and renewal business to meet LoB targets regionally including global elements. Ownership of large accounts/clients including negotiation of participation, pricing and terms and conditions. Lead and develop Cyber and Tech PI team of underwriters in Southeast Asia, including local Allianz entities (AZAP OEs). Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients including thought leadership and market engagement. Be a specialized technical expertise/lead for at least one sub-LoB.

Key Responsibilities:

Underwrite Profitable Business

• Underwrite large new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom-line targets (regionally including global elements).
• Negotiate participation, pricing and terms and conditions with brokers. Proactively manage capacity.
• Underwrite and evaluate Natural Catastrophe Accumulation, ensuring an understanding of catastrophe modelling and interpretation of scenarios (for relevant LoBs).
• Underwrite Multinational Programs (for relevant LoBs).
• Specialized technical expertise / lead for Cyber and Tech PI

Underwriting Approach and Compliance

• Underwrite in line with LoB governance framework – e.g. Underwriting Authorities, global MSU, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules and Principles.

• Ensure placing and binding of FAC Reinsurance prior to policy inception.

• File maintenance – ensure file is established (whether electronic or paper) and maintained for each risk and transaction handled.
• Proactively support completion of policy administration and credit control processes.

Underwriting Strategy and Leadership

• Contribute to development and execution of regional Underwriting strategy for LoB regionally.
• Training, developing, and coaching of less experienced staff (including Underwriters)

Market Management
