Job Description:
The case manager position is an exciting opportunity within Epiq’s Corporate Restructuring Department which is within the Bankruptcy Solutions Division. The successful candidate must be able to understand and prioritize client goals to ensure that client deliverables are produced accurately and by stated client deadlines. Case managers interact directly with Epiq’s clients and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Due to the fast-paced nature of the Bankruptcy Solutions Division, case managers must have an attention to detail. Therefore, the successful candidate must be focused on providing the client with accurate information and have a high level of accountability.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- The case manager’s primary duty includes managing all aspects of a case during its full lifecycle, which include but are not limited to: the maintenance of court claim registers, the effectuation of service of notices and pleadings, and the timely production of client deliverables.
- Review and interpret legal documents daily to ensure accurate update of various client databases.
- Coordinate import of client data files and maintain official court registers.
- Coordinate with clients and internal staff to ensure timely processing of claims, effectuation of service of notices and pleadings, and filing of related affidavits of service by required deadlines.
- Assess, understand and prioritize client goals to ensure completion of requested tasks and production of deliverables by stated deadlines.
- Ensure that all work is checked for quality, accuracy and completeness and that problems identified are resolved appropriately.
- Respond to creditor and client inquiries and complete research and follow up necessary to respond in a prompt and professional manner to ensure client satisfaction and timely production of deliverables.
- Routinely review filed claims and claims registers to advise client, creditors and staff of claim classifications, amounts and possible deficiencies.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
