Job Description:

• Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
• Supervising logistics & transportation.
• Supervising in upkeeping and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Prepare and monitor financial forecasts and budget projections for operational expenditures.
• Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, maintaining a high level of compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational processes and policies to achieve high standards of compliance and operational effectiveness.

Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical).
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin would be a significant advantage as the job required.
• Experience in palm oil milling will be added advantage.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labour allocation for day to day operations.

Co-ordinate resources, (operational and human) schedules and activities to effectively manage jobs.

Ensure supplies are ordered for each job.

Assist with quoting, project management, materials purchasing and quality checks.

Ensure correct job numbers are used and that time records are correct.

Provide oversight and check job estimates.

Manage inward goods, checking quantities, dispatching goods and receipting invoices

Regularly report progress on each job and quickly communicate delays or concerns with the Director - Operations. Report on manpower overruns or shortfalls.

Act as a technical adviser on key projects and other areas of the business as requested.

Work with the Director - Operations to respond to client’s requests for updates on the status of their jobs and keep the communication channels open to ensure information is accurate.

Identify client’s needs and explain/demonstrate AMS's services to them, which may involve technical descriptions of products and the way they may be used.

Receive and review feedback from customers and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.

Work with the Directors to investigate customer complaints and concerns arising from products and suggest appropriate solutions. Discuss with team to identify appropriate course of action.

Develop and implement systems to record, file and store information pertaining to client enquiries.

Identify staff that require on-going training and implement training opportunities to ensure their skills are improved. Work with apprentices and semi-skilled staff to role model appropriate technical skills. Provide feedback to staff that are not performing to the expected level and ensure human resources are informed of trends in performance.

Promote a Health and Safety culture within the business.

Requirements:

Engineering Trade Qualification preferably Fitter Turner or Fitter Welder or equivalent

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to work with people at various levels from shop floor to senior management

Can look beyond the initial customer enquiry and identify other business opportunities

CAD drawing skills are an advantage but not essential

Project management experience People management skills

Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel

Job Responsibilities:-

• Forecasts goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering, or any related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager within the Electrical HV Transmission & Distribution industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex Electrical projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods. Materials, and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

1.0 Project Leadership & Management:

• Ensures that all operational processes are running efficiently. This includes optimizing workflows, resource allocation, and scheduling to meet client demands and project timelines. By implementing standard operating procedures, can reduce bottlenecks and improve overall efficiency.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for assigned Facilities Management and Interconnection Facility HV Transmission project from conception to completion.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee all aspects of project execution, including procurement, contract management, construction activities, quality control and team KPI business scorecards.
• Create new SOPs, enhance existing ones, put established SOPs into practice, and evaluate each SOP once it has been put into practice to make sure that execution and compliance is at the highest possible level.
• Manage project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
• Conducting regular assessments and meeting with team of project milestones and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and facilitate corrective actions when projects are veering off course.

2.0 Client Communication & Relationship Management:

• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Present project updates and reports to clients regularly.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities.
