Job Objectives

· Business Analyst for corporate internet banking

Key Responsibilities

· Requirements Analysis & Elicitation

· Responsible to identify and define detailed functional specifications based on the business requirements document

· Analyze and document the “to-be” business and operation processes based on the agreed requirements and / or function points, perform impact assessment and estimation

· Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope-creep

· Team Collaboration

· Participate in transitioning the requirements to the designers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.

· Assist in translating business requirements into test scenarios.

· Facilitate / provide “Train-the-Trainer” on application enhancements

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge base related to application features and processes (subject matter expertise)

· Testing & Scope Management

· Clarify test findings escalated by Test Manager and classify the findings accordingly (either as a defect or change request)

· Perform impact assessment and estimation for Project Change Request

· Good knowledge in financial services policies, procedures, products and industry practices.

· Strong negotiation skills

· Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong working knowledge of relevant applications and development life cycles

Key Requirements

Mandatory is:

• Experience in Business Analysis. 8-10 years
• Experience in Digital Channels and in transaction banking. 5 years+
• Understanding of Technology but no need to have coding experience
• Capturing , analyzing and eliciting business Requirements: Elaborating JIRA stories
• Agile product development experience

Nice to have is:

• Detailed Knowledge in how Payments work in Singapore vs Malaysia vs Hong Kong (regulatory too)
• Knowledge of Technology trends eg. how does a digital bank approach digital channels
• API /SWIFT experience

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will be:

Position Overview: As a Supply Chain Intern, you'll be integral to our efforts in leveraging data for informed decision-making and operational enhancements within our supply chain. Working closely with our skilled team, you'll contribute to advancing our supply chain analytics capabilities, utilizing your coding proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Power BI.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to identify data-driven opportunities for refining processes and optimizing our supply chain.
• Develop, maintain, and improve coding-based tools and scripts to streamline data collection, transformation, and analysis.
• Create and maintain interactive, insightful Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize supply chain data and key metrics.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within supply chain data to provide actionable insights.
• Support data integration across various supply chain systems and databases.
• Gather requirements from cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in supply chain analytics, coding practices, and Power BI features, and contribute innovative ideas.
• Gain understanding of current processes and support daily/weekly report generation and ad hoc tasks.
• Analyze data from various sources (e.g., ERP, Rapid Response, PBI) in collaboration with the supply chain operations team.
• Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain processes through data analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reports and processes aimed at reducing complexity and improving efficiency.
• Present findings and insights to the supply chain operations team for further action.
• Show interest in digital tools and technologies (e.g., web pages, Gen AI, ChatGPT).
• Demonstrate knowledge in Computer Science, PowerApps, Power Automate, VBA, and Power BI.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in analytics or visualization platform coding languages such as Python, R, Tableau, MS VBA, or similar.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Power BI report development preferred.
• Familiarity with data manipulation, transformation, and visualization techniques.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks within set timelines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

We are expanding our team and looking to recruit an Intern Data Scientist to assist in the design and development of custom solutions that fulfil business and client needs. This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the chance to work on green field projects as well as existing projects. Whilst we do have an office in Bangkok, the role is hybrid working arrangements.

As an Intern Data Scientist, you will gain exposure to various aspects of data science while contributing to real-world projects. We are looking for candidates who are in their final year of study or have recently graduated with no prior professional experience.

Required

• Currently in the final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree or recently completed a degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Basic proficiency in Python and familiarity with Jupyter notebooks.
• Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts and methods.
• Familiarity with basic machine learning algorithms, such as linear regression and decision trees.
• Ability to work with structured data and perform data cleaning and preprocessing.
• Basic understanding of SQL for database querying.

Some from the following:

• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Matplotlib or Seaborn.
• Exposure to machine learning frameworks like scikit-learn.
• Basic knowledge of natural language processing or computer vision concepts.

• Understand business processes and user's pain points that lead to the need for an internal web application.
• Develop a business case with estimated benefits, main application features, etc.
• Create user stories and UI/UX in collaboration with the digitalization team and stakeholders.
• Build the web application using the low code platform OutSystem.
• Track & share progress, challenges, proposal of solutions.
