• You will establish long and short range plans for the division to include workload, policies, and priorities.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Create a variety of specialized reports to assist with QMS operational activities including budget cost containment, resource and expenditure management, strategic planning, and work simplification.
• Complete the Annual Call for budget, oversight of various fund control points, managing and tracking various fund control points and reconciling purchases on a recurring basis throughout the fiscal year.
• Work with the Financial Resources Management Service to review for accuracy and validity of the QMS budget and fund control management.
• Coordinate data collection and analysis; utilize Process Improvement principles to determine organizational performance especially as it relates to facilitate the ongoing monitoring and/or sustainment of improved performance measures.

• Plan, develop, direct and coordinate the organization of data/processes to ensure thorough and timely review of MCMs, VHA Directives and VHA Handbooks to ensure VASDHS compliance with all requirements.
• Prepare/present both written and oral reports with consideration of the wide range of factors and requirements affecting the facility.
• Provide clear and concise analysis of program issues and trends, including justifications, narratives and visuals (charts and/or graphs).

The DCQM provides executive leadership and direct supervision over the following areas: Accreditation, Risk Management, External Peer Review, and Patient Safety. • Performs duties associated with the administration of the quality assurance provisions of contracts by designing, implementing, and maintaining a risk-based surveillance program and assessment plan.

As Director of the Acquisitions Division the incumbent will be responsible for providing the day-to-day management, planning, leadership and oversight of a full range of acquisitions and contract administration activities.The incumbent will provide managerial leadership, technical direction and oversight for OIG Acquisitions Division as follows:

• Directs all contracting and procurement activities;
• Provides advise and technical information;
• Advises, guides and collaborates with OIG senior-level management officials to develop and formulate acquisition plans and policies;
• Directs the planning and execution of pre-award and post-award contracting functions;

As a Compliance Investigator (Accident Investigator), you will:

• Be responsible for participating in PHMSA outreach activities for Federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as regulated industries.
• Serve as PHMSA primary planner and lead representative for complex, multi-agency investigations resulting from risk-based data analysis, trends, complaints, incidents, and accidents involving the transportation and security of hazardous materials in commerce.
