Job Description

• Responsible for all managing the operations of SCMI, including minor surgery and test and any other duties which are required for the management of patients of SCMI and its related medical facilities
• Organize resources such as facilities and employees so as to ensure service efficiency
• Plan by prioritizing customers, employees and organizational requirements
• Performance measures for the measurement of performance and consideration of efficiency versus effectiveness
• Assist in other areas in SCMI and its related medical facilities as and when required by your management
• Overseeing the quality control of the radiological services provided at SCMI and its related medical facilities
• Working with the Medical Director, Senior Management to ensure the smooth running of SCMI and its related medical facilities
• Ensure that all radiation safety aspects of SCMI and its related medical facilities are in accordance with statutory requirement, as well as ensure that all radiation protection equipment is available and well maintained
• Overall-in-charge of Clinic facilities and equipment
• Main liaison person with clinic renovation / upgrading contractors and related service providers
• Main liaison person of equipment vendors, including equipment upgrading works
• Main point of person contacts for breakdown reporting by clinic
• Main first response for facilities and equipment breakdowns
• Landlord liaison on behalf of the organization and various landlords
• Perform Tender calling exercise and conduct show rounds for tenderers
• Assist Management in evaluating tenders and selection process which include negotiating with the tenderers the final costing
• Assist clinics in obtaining approval and renewal from Ministry of Health
• Facility Management and Equipment Maintenance

1. Troubleshoot rectify day to day fault reports from clinics
2. Liaise with vendors / suppliers regarding various equipment maintenance schedule / program
3. Arrange for repair / replacement of medical equipment when necessary
4. Source for new vendors to reduce operational cost
5. Ensure standards and procedures are kept

• Main liaison contact person with landlord’s management and their service teams

1. Ensure timely and smooth handover of unit to landlord of level 7 unit
2. Ensure proper timing of support from landlord’s management, service teams, so that Companies service standard are not compromised
3. Lead Fire Warden for Company and assisting landlord in conduct of annual Fire Drill

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assign by the management.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/ Facilities Management discipline with minimum 5 years relevant engineering operational experience, including 2 years in healthcare
• Diploma in any Engineering(Mechanical or Electrical) /Facilities Management discipline with minimum 10 years relevant engineering operational experience, including 2 years in healthcare
• A team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to commit to 5.5 days work week
• Proven experience in facility management in a large-scale facility
• Strong building and M&E knowledge with hands-on experiences
• Ability to remain flexible and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Possess a high level of initiative and integrity
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behavior

Responsibilities:

• Familiar with NEA Environmental Sanitisation Programme, and undertake the role of a registered Premise Manager and or Environmental Control Coordinator for a specified premises of a Canteen/Café
• Oversee all maintenance issues of the building
• Manage essential services such as electrical and mechanical works, utilities, security, pest control and waste recycling
• Provide facility support to various departments
• Ensure all preventive, corrective maintenance and ad-hoc works are duly carried out and coordinate with vendors and contractors on building defects and outstanding issues
• Procurement for new building and M&E work
• Conduct regular inspection on building, facilities and M&E services to ensure all are in good condition with compliance to building regulations
• Coordinate with internal departments and Fire Safety Manager (FSM) on fire safety management and control
• Assist Fire Safety Manager to update documentation, co-ordinate fire emergency drills, safety training for personnel and all other fire safety issues
• Ensure proper administration and documentation

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Building, Facilities Management, Electrical Engineering, Business Management or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint
• At least 5 years’ relevant work experience, preferable in healthcare
• Preferably a registered Fire Safety Manager certified by SCDF

• Using technology, processes and collaborative ways of working to maximise output and realise efficiencies. You’ll forecast demand and plan resources effectively using dynamic resource scheduling (DRS).


• Driving repairs and maintenance performance by ensuring we have the right resources at the right time, effectively managing internal trades, contractors and suppliers and achieving positive customer satisfaction scores.


• Working intuitively collaboratively with our Customer Service Centre to ensure we are maximising customer service and joined up ways of working across our services.


• Leading our customer service and planning teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, driving efficiencies and improvements for both our trade teams and customers, achieving key performance indicators.


• Ongoing training and coaching for trade colleagues in using the handheld mobile system to ensure that they work correctly and efficiently and effectively.


• Leadership and people management of wider team of circa 15 including Senior Schedulers, Schedulers and administrators

You have

• Experience of workforce management and using workforce planning systems (such as Dynamic Resource Scheduling) to forecast demand and plan resources, delivering services at the right time and cost.


• Knowledge of trade activities and sequencing across responsive and voids, planned and cyclical work programmes.


• An experienced people manager with the ability to lead high performing teams in a customer service environment, making it a great place to work.


• Analytical and experience of driving continuous improvements, working collaboratively with others.


• You are comfortable managing data and reporting, clearly identifying key metrics and collaborating with colleagues to present insights that inform business decisions.


• It would be great if you’ve got experience of enhancing in house systems for optimal use.
