We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck driver to join our clients busy site in Medway.

You will be working outside, loading and unloading lorries, moving timber around the yard, discharging timber from the ships and picking up cargo from the terminals. Ideally candidates will have experience of moving timber / large bulky items around.

There are between 60 - 100 deliveries per day and it is very physical work. Additionally there will be occasions where candidates will need to operate a crane, this goes 10m up in the air - so if candidates have this experience it would be advantageous

Candidates need to be available to work Monday to Friday but also weekends as well. You will be required to work on an on call basis, however, you are guaranteed to have one weekend off per month.

You will be required to work a 40 hour week, which runs between two shifts of 7am to 4pm and 9am to 6pm. Candidates interested in applying will need to be able to commit to the weekend working.

The salary starts at £31,200 per annum and will increase to £40,200 once the probation period has been completed.

Working as a Stores Manager your role will be to oversee and manage the stores team, ensuring the efficient and accurate booking in / out of stock, making sure that the stock vs system count is maintained to a high level.

You will be required to check the stock coming in against purchase orders, making sure that quantities are correct, checking the quality of the products received, reporting any errors as they occur.

Other duties will include ensuring optimum stock levels are maintained at all times, completing stock takes, cycle counts and valuations within the main stores area.

Candidates interested in this role will have gained a minimum of 3 years previous experience within a stores manager role, you will possess excellent communication skills as you will liaise with both internal staff and external suppliers / couriers.

Ideally candidates would have experience of using Pegasus Opera / CRM systems and also previous experience of managing a manufacturing stores environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable GMP Production Operative to join an expanding manufacturing team based in Rochester. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of their production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Adhere to GMP guidelines and regulations to maintain high standards of quality and safety in the production environment

- Operate production equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner

- Monitor production processes to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

- Perform inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods

- Document production activities and maintain accurate records of production data

- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise

- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance in production operations

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a GMP-regulated industry

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed

- Knowledge of basic math and computer skills

- Understanding of GMP principles and practices is highly desirable

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

There is also a night shift opportunity at the same company working 12 hours nights 6pm - 6am.

This particular role will start as a temporary position but will go permanent after successful 3 month probation period.

Overview of the position: As a supplier to the HM Prison Service for the provision of maintenance trades & support operatives, Hays is seeking to recruit an experienced administrator for Rochester Prison in Rochester, Kent. This is a Long-term Temporary Contract Maternity Cover, Based on 39 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm
The Administrator role is in a unique working environment with a strong sense of team working. Always in demand, you could benefit from long-term contracts and there is also potential, once trained, to work in other prisons both locally and nationally.

Purpose of the Administrator role:
As part of the Works Department you will be responsible for dealing with incoming & internal calls in a responsive and professional manner. You must be organised, adhering to strict deadlines and must be able to attain a high level of accuracy in all duties. You will be able to adapt to the use of existing in-house database/ facilities management systems and maintain daily responsibilities including data look ups, conversions and data reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working as part of an admin team. A proactive approach is essential, and the successful candidate will be somebody who possesses sound judgement and a logical approach.
The Works Department has expressed a preference for candidates with strong office software skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel. Use of formula within Microsoft Excel is essential. You will also be responsible for assisting in the safety and security of the establishment, where your duties could also include escorting visitors & building contractors within the prison and outside areas.
