The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of masonry structures and surfaces made of stone within Shenandoah National Park Trails and Backcountry Facilities Branch. This TERM project work will repair and maintain rock structures as well as rehabilitate masonry wall structures, repair and restore tread surfaces and critical trails structures, and restore trail drainage structures to improve safety and prevent tread washouts. Duties include:

• Performs and leads masonry project tasks to include bridge abutment repair, step, retaining wall, rip rap, and water bar construction.
• Cuts trees, performs heavy vegetation management, and cleans erosion control structures on wilderness and non-wilderness trails with axe, chainsaw, crosscut saw, power weeder, lopper, brush cutter, pick, McLeod, etc.
• Operates and maintains power equipment such as mortar mixers, chainsaws, brush cutters/chippers and all types of hand and light power tools.
• Operates vehicles such as pickups, panel trucks, flatbbed trucks, UTVs, etc. to transport personnel, material, and equipment.
• Hikes up to 10 miles on backcountry trails carrying up to 50 pounds to perform trail masonry, trail maintenance and trail rehabilitation work.

This is a TERM position (more than 1 year) with an initial appointment expecting to last at least 13 months but may be extended up to a total of three years, or more based on any changes to regulations governing the number of years term appointments may last, without further competition. Term positions do not convey permanent status in the Federal service.

The National Park Service retains the right to extend the duration of this appointment after selection and/or appointment, based on changes to the regulation governing the number of years term appointments may last. This change, which may be made at the agency's sole discretion and without further competition, shall not be construed or interpreted as the granting of a right to a selectee or employee to such an extension. POSITION LOCATION: Shenandoah National Park preserves and protects more than 300 square miles of nationally significant natural and cultural resources, scenic beauty, and congressionally designated wilderness within Virginia's northern Blue Ridge Mountains; and provides a broad range of opportunities for public enjoyment, recreation, inspiration, and stewardship. Within just 90 miles of Washington D.C. the Park provides visitors the ability to explore mountain peaks, hidden hollows, cascading streams, accessible wilderness, and stunning natural beauty. Approximately 40% of the Park is designated wilderness with over 500 miles of hiking trails and the iconic Skyline Drive, SHEN was established as an eastern Park that provided a "western Park experience". Due to the Park's easy accessibility to D.C and other highly populated areas along the east coast, visitation exceeds 1.4 million visitors annually which results in significant resource protection and visitor management issues and incidents.

Changing Lives began in 1970, when four people set up Tyneside Cyrenians, offering food and

Job Role
Changing Lives is a Charity supporting young people to develop independent lives. The project is
a 24 hour supported accommodation service based in South moor - Durham and we are looking
for an enthusiastic Housing management worker to join an enthusiastic and professional team.
We support young people aged 16-21 to flourish and to work to overcome the interconnected
problems that lead them into accessing our services. The shift pattern consists of 3 nights on shift, followed by 3 nights off.

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our busy ICT Department, which is normally located at our offices in Conwy.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Network Engineer will ensure the smooth, day to day running of the ICT network and telecoms systems by providing technical knowledge and support. Working in a demanding environment where precision is critical, they will also assist with installations, rectification of faults, repairs and redesigns of the network and telecom infrastructure, to provide an escalation point and specialist guidance and support to colleagues and users.

The appointed person will need to be self-motivated and driven to learn and develop their skills. With a methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving, they will need take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.

Applicants will need to demonstrate (with evidence) the skills, as outlined in the job description and Person Specification including:

• Working knowledge of Networks to CCNA or equivalent standards
• Experience of working within an ICT environment
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving
• Ability to communicate effectively and support training of others
• Ability to meet targets, deadlines and work under pressure
• Knowledge of ITIL methodology is desirable
• A working knowledge of Solarwinds and Microsoft Server operating systems and Active Directory is strongly desired

The role is full-time (37 hours per week). There are part time shift options available (27.5 hours per week). Shift Pattern to cover the following working hours: 5 days out of 7, between 8am-8pm Monday- Friday and between 8am- 6pm Saturday-Sunday. • Supports patient safety standards using the correct Veterans Affairs identification of all patients through the use of two forms of identification, name and full Social Security Number.
• When records are received, the incumbent(s) will ensure that all necessary health/administrative information are integrated into Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) by sending the documents to scanning or performing the function within their area.
