Responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating the specialty treatment program and for coordinating and evaluating all activities within the specialty treatment program.

Responsible for the administration, scoring, and interpretation of a wide variety of psychological testing instruments and procedures, including objective and projective instruments of personality assessment; intelligence tests; and tests and inventories of interests, aptitude, criminality, and achievement.

Accounting Support - 40%
Incumbent monitors and controls by timely recording, coding, balancing, and scrutinizing for inaccurate accounts. Incumbent monitors accounting systems to track, reconcile and report on agency operation and maintenance funding and/or appropriations for which the agency has legislative oversight responsibility. Incumbent interprets various appropriations, allotment restrictions, accounts and financial reports for operating officials/management and advises them of the proper appropriations or funds chargeable, proper documentation and method to be used for obligation of funds. Supervision - 30% The incumbent provides technical and administrative supervision to a unit of (5) employees who make up the Accounting Section on the Fiscal Service organization chart. This area consists of (2) GS 9/11 Accountants who work as Payors and Obligators, (1) GS 7 Voucher Examiner, (1) GS 7 Lead Cashier, and (1) GS 6 Cashier. The incumbent oversees the daily operation of the unit, ensures that agency policies and priorities are being followed; develops performance standards, and evaluates work performance of subordinates. The incumbent gives advice, counsel, and instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. The incumbent hears and resolves minor complaints from employees; refers group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager; effects minor disciplinary measures such as warnings and reprimands and recommends action in more serious cases. Reporting Systems - 30% Incumbent monitor's financial subsidiary reports for accuracy; recommending corrective action when necessary. Helps develop workload measures and standard operating procedures for the accounting section. Monitors the monthly reconciliations and accounting reports. Provides advice and guidance to managers because of monthly reviews. Provides recommendations to improve productivity, cost-effectiveness, and quality of process. The incumbent will assist the Assistant Financial Manager in administering a reporting system which will provide management and operating officials with necessary financial and statistical data to make day-to-day decisions. This position is located in the Operations Section of a Base Communications Unit, Mission Support Group, in an Air National Guard Wing. This is an Air National Guard (ANG) Dual Status Technician position requiring military membership, compatible military skill assignment, and classification. This position is responsible for providing voice, data, wireless, Communications Focal Point (CFP) and information security services provided to the Wing, supported Geographically Separated Units, and Tenants. The incumbent specializes in one or more of the major information technology (IT) and/or communications systems/functions managed and maintained by the Unit - network infrastructure, wireless systems, voice systems, and CFP operations. The purpose of this position is to serve as a customer support specialist performing work involving analytical and evaluative duties related to classified and unclassified information technology networks and/or cyber system with primary knowledge requirements of information processing methodology, information technology, telecommunications systems, computer capabilities, processing techniques, IT trouble ticket management, and data communications.

Description of Duties:

1. Manages the assigned IT/communications environment with privileged access at the network level for the Wing, Geographically Separated Units (GSU), and Tenants. Plans, coordinates, installs, and continuously analyzes system design, hardware and software. Develops, recommends, and installs solutions and upgrades to ensure availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of all components of the assigned system.

2. Serves as a focal point for ensuring functionality and operability of the assigned IT/data systems/functions, voice and wireless systems to support mission requirements of Wing, Geographically Separated Units (GSU), and Tenants. Optimizes the functionality and performance of hardware and software systems and ensures availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of system/functional resources while managing the communications focal point coordination and workload distribution duties.

3. Provides customer technical assistance and support for all users. Provides ongoing technical support to customers to ensure proper functional use of equipment and programs and to preclude undue interruptions to IT and communications services.

4. Determines customer requirements and assists customers by recognizing and analyzing trends and providing instruction and orientation services. Identifies and documents system requirements for specific needs of customers. Conducts in-depth analyses of system usage, user complaints, traffic interruptions, hardware and software capabilities, and other relevant factors.

5. Conducts feasibility studies to identify and analyze system failures and analyzes data to determine if trends exist which forecast the need for future replacement or modification of system hardware and software.

6. Coordinates frequency needs with command level spectrum management office to maintain current allocations and obtain new authorizations. Secures operating authority, and ensures minimal interference by ANG radio frequency (RF) operations.

7. Installs, maintains, and repairs hardware devices supporting a broad range of information and communications systems. Uses detailed knowledge of concepts, principles, methods, and practices with sophisticated diagnostic equipment and complex diagnostic software to identify and resolve internal system and network conflicts.

This position is located in the logistics section of a Battalion (Bn) or Squadron (Sqdrn) size unit of the Army National Guard. The purpose of this position is to function as the primary assistant to or to function as the senior logistics full time member of the organization. Under the direction of the Officer in Charge (OIC), Logistics Officer, or Commander, this position oversees and ensures the accomplishment of work performed in the area of logistics.

Duties and Responsibility:

1. Incumbent is responsible to provide technical guidance to subordinate units, the headquarters logistics section, or other staff sections concerning logistics and maintenance management. May provide supervision and guidance to full time personnel in the logistics section of the organizational headquarters. Schedules and provides proficiency training for logistical personnel within the command. Plans and provides guidance for the implementation of current and future equipment authorization documents. May be required to coordinate with local officials, service organizations, etc., for a variety of purposes: armory security coordination with police, rental of the armory, organizational participation in celebrations, and to provide public information about the National Guard.
