The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) involved in the removing, installing, troubleshooting, interrogating, overhauling, adjusting, testing, modifying, calibrating, and repairing of complex integrated aircraft pneudraulic systems and equipment on board conventional/nuclear certified aircraft supported by the organization and to provide training to and evaluation of all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors and foreign military as required in the accomplishment of duties set forth herein.
Duties:
1. Conducts scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and periodic inspections on all pneudraulically operated systems on/off aircraft in accordance with established procedures.
2. Performs troubleshooting of complex integrated pneudraulic systems of related on/off equipment for assigned and/or transient aircraft to include support equipment. Performs off-equipment maintenance and bench checks to support the repair cycle.
3. Utilizes safety practices and tool control procedures to maintain a safe and clean work area.
4. Prepares/executes effective training plans to maximize training for all assigned personnel, e.g., Active Duty, Reservist, Civilians, Contractors, and foreign military.
5. Reviews, verifies, and documents aircraft forms, component forms/tags and Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) to reflect maintenance actions performed on and off equipment.
