Your new role:

The role of support worker will consist of supporting with the delivery of care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will be involved in the everyday routines of the patients, ensuring the psychological needs of each individual are met. This will include taking the patients out into the community to complete activities, allowing you to build strong relationships and self-esteem. They operate on a flexible rota, with scope to do both short and long days. However, flexibility is essential to deliver services over the full range of hours. We are looking for an experienced Engineer to work as a member of the Mitie Fire & Security Systems Operations Field service team. You'll ensure effective delivery of PPM, Reactive calls and additional Small Works, ensuring compliance with all Legal and Regulatory requirements.

You'll be expected to carry out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of Fire alarms, CCTV, Access control and Intruder alarm/associated equipment and products to the relevant legislative and qualitative standards, alongside appropriate documentation and records in a timely and appropriate manner. You should have excellent communication skills, alongside basic Microsoft Word and Excel literacy.

You should be capable of working to high levels of Health and Safety Requirements and having previous experience in a similar role carrying out PPM, reactive calls and Small Works in the Fire & Security Systems industry. Service test and inspection experience to the relevant standards/codes are also expected including fault-finding techniques. You will also be expected to actively attend and participate in any company-initiated training to maintain an up to date knowledge of technical aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate would have previous experience with PPM, Accident Reporting, or RAMS, alongside following Health and Safety Legislation, preferably in the engineering field. Contribute to the practice achieving its GMS contract obligations including quality, organisational and access targets. Maintain accurate records according to NMC rules. Ensure all data protection requirements are met when gathering, recording and storing patient data. Liaise and maintain good working relationships with all members of the practice team. Work within the multi-disciplinary team within the practice and across the wider health system. Promote a learning environment for patients, nurses and other health professionals. Assist with the planning and implementation and teaching for practice staff including medical students and health care assistants. Attend and contribute to relevant internal and external meetings as required including practice clinical meetings, nurse team meetings and gold standard framework meetings. Maintain a personal progress and training plan to keep up-to-date with current thinking and developments as well as identifying own training deficiencies and attending suitable courses and appropriate. Promote evidence based practice through use of the latest research based guidelines. Monitor the effectiveness or their own clinical practice through quality assurance strategies such as the use of peer audit and review. Maintain professional registration. Work within the latest NMC Code of Professional Conduct. Record accurate consultation data in patients records in accordance with NMC guidance and other standards. Keep up to date with pertinent health policy and work with the practice team to consider the impact and strategies for implementation. Work collaboratively with colleagues both internally and externally. Participate in protocol development. Identify opportunities to delegate tasks to junior members of the nursing team. Help the practice develop in a cost effective manner, monitoring and using resources appropriately e.g. stock control of dressings, vaccinations. Participate in practice meetings as required. Participate in audits and inspections as required. As part of the nursing team ensure all appropriate practice policies are fully implemented. Promotes effective communication, relationships and team working within the practice. Provides clinical educational advice to support develop of the team and range of services provided. Partakes in clinical supervision for own development purposes. Facilitates and promotes the use of up to date technology to develop practice.

Introduction

The HR Systems and Data Team are responsible for the application support and development of the new HR and Payroll System, enabling customers to make full use of the applications. HR Systems Team experts provide leadership and technical advice on system applications to customers, maximising productivity and performance of the system. The Team will lead and contribute to HR business improvement projects, HR system module implementation, and will identify opportunities for improvements to business activities and system processes.

The Role

Part of the HR Systems team focussing on HR Systems application support and maintenance, enabling customers to make full use of the applications on which service relies.

Responsible for the support and development of HR system. Provision of assistance to the HR Systems team in the production of Management Information and maintenance of HR system.

Some of the responsibilities for this role include:

• Support and maintenance of HR and Payroll System. Providing direct user support to customers.
• Ability to write new reports and amending existing reports on using report browsers, Excel to present data.
• Support the Maintenance of the agreed complement, including the creation and / or updating existing positions and employee data in HR system.
• Support the provision of reports to ensure are received in a reasonable and timely manner.
• Support the testing of any changes, upgrades or enhancements to the system.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

• Ability to Support and maintain iTrent HR System and provide customer support
• Knowledge and experience of providing management information from HR Systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel to include creation of Pivot Tables
• Ability to prioritise own workload to ensure delivery of a high-quality customer service in line with the monthly reporting and payroll cycle.
• Good attention to detail with a proven ability to check numerical and narrative information thoroughly and accurately.
• Act as a positive role model and promote the culture of House, maintaining principles of equality, diversity and inclusion at all times.
