We are expanding our commercial management team to support National Highways' annual £1bn investment programme to maintain the Strategic Road Network. As part of this, we have exciting opportunities for Assistant Quantity Surveyors to join our team.

• Dealing with high-speed food production, processing & packaging machinery, automation & controls
• PLC - electrical fault finding
• Worked on motors, servo drives, sensors, inverters, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, compressors
• Continuous improvements - suggesting new things, sharing ideas

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship
• Be a multi-skilled engineer - ideally with an electrical biased
• Must have worked in a food / FMCG manufacturing environment that is fast paced
• Working knowledge of a CMMS system
• Be a team player, want proactive individuals
• Qualified to HNC level
• PLC - electrical fault finding
• Able to fault find both electrically & mechanically
• Comfortable working at heights and in hot conditions sometimes
• Happy working in a time-sensitive busy environment
• Have experience with continuous improvements & lean manufacturing
• Any qualifications in food hygiene, safety etc. beneficial

We have an excellent opportunity for a Supervisor to work on our Highways Term Maintenance contract based out of Luton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and co-ordinating teams of both directly employed and Sub-Contract labour. They will ensure that operational and financial targets and deadlines are met and that the works and services are implemented in accordance with the contract requirements.

• NRSWA - Supervisor
• CSCS site manager card
• Winter Maintenance Supervisor - desirable
• First aider or Fire warden qualification
• SSSTS
• ONC or equivalent in Civil Engineering

Room Care Technicians in our team provide effective repair and preventative maintenance to ensure our guest bedrooms are kept in excellent condition.

• Maintain the bedrooms, without compromising the guest experience.
• Complete day-to-day maintenance requests.
• Ensure that all fixtures and fittings are maintained in perfect working condition and any defects are corrected promptly.
• Complete regular machinery testing and maintenance on the hotel machines and equipment.
