We are now seeking to recruit CNC turner to join a busy manufacturing precision engineering company based in Lincoln. This is permanent position, and the CNC Turner would ensure that manufactured parts conform to drawings provided.

Responsibilities of CNC Turner:

• Setting / Operating CNC lates machines – multi-manning as required
• Ensuring processed parts conform to drawing
• Ensuring parts are processed in the allowed time
• Ensuring all documentation is accurate
• Supporting the area in carrying out alternative tasks as required
• Supporting other team-members as required

Expectation:

• Applicants should be able to read Engineering drawings, use standard measuring equipment and understand general turning principles, (with a background of CNC).
• Tasks will include setting and operating CNC lathes, editing programmes as necessary, making offsets as required, ensuring parts conform to drawings.

A Shift Monday to Thursday 6am to 1:35pm 6am to 12:45pm

B Shift Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm Friday 12:35pm to 7pm

Responsibilities of CNC miller:

Setting / operating CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines (Okuma / Mazak / HAAS / XYZ)

Ensure parts conform to drawings and are processed in the allotted timeframe.

Ensure all documentation is accurate.

Support the area in carrying out alternative tasks as required.

Achieving area targets as identified by Production Management

Expectation:

Working as part of the Milling team, you will ensure that manufactured parts conform to drawings provided.

You should be able to read engineering drawings, use standard measuring equipment and understand general machining principles.

The role will require you to set up and operate Milling machinery. This may include multi-manning machines.

You may be required to assist other CNC departments and carry out alternative tasks as required.

The appropriate candidate would be able to work on 3 rotating shifts:

A Shift Monday to Thursday 6am to 1:35pm, Friday 6am to 12:45pm

B Shift Monday to Thursday 1:25pm to 9:05pm, Friday 12:35pm to 7pm

C Shift Monday to Thursday 8:55pm to 06:10am

Responsibilities of production planning Coordinator:

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating production.
• Work with the planning team to develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Evaluating raw material and all other bill of material requirements to ensure everything is in place to meet production requirements.
• Reporting any issues associated with the plan to the Head of production planning.
• Support customer services where necessary with customer delivery schedules.
• Evaluate production and supplier performance, recommend improvement to any areas which are directly impacting the planning process/performance.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust production schedules as needed.
• Management of the MRP system and all associated actions.

We are now seeking home based Production Planning Administrator to support planning administration department for a busy manufacturing company based in Lincoln.

Requirement:

• Launching paperwork to accompany orders being processed through shop floor.
• Make amendments on a manufacturing order waiting to start and already started.
• Liaising with other departments for guidance and instructions on making unique amendments.
• To ensure the latest information is updated on the system and is reflected on paperwork when required.
• Checking completed paperwork, to ensure all information is present and correct prior to being sent for archive scanning.
• Support the planners with execution of the plan.
• Work with daily reports to ensure data on the system is correct and accurate.
• To action drawing and routing amendments as instructed by the Drawing Office. Ensuring the latest information is updated on the system and is reflected on paperwork.
• Carry out quantity deviations on started orders when an order has made more or less than originally planned.
• To carry out investigations into transaction anomalies and correct as required.
• Assist with the annual stock take. Support in the production store area when required with investigating stock issues and correcting systems accordingly.
