Responsibilities

• Managing a team of technicians and engineers who are responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the communication system. Ensure that the team is properly trained and equipped to deliver the service to customers
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. This involves understanding their needs and expectations and ensuring that the system is meeting those needs
• Ensuring that the service delivery meets the quality standards set by the Authority. This involves monitoring performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Managing the service delivery budgets, including resource allocation, cost management, and revenue forecasting
• Managing service delivery contracts with customers. This includes negotiating terms, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and managing customer expectations
• Identifying and managing risks associated with service delivery. This involves developing risk management plans and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of risks on service delivery
• Ensuring that the communication system is properly maintained on a regular basis. This includes conducting routine checks, inspections, and preventative maintenance to ensure that the system is operating at peak performance
• Diagnosing and repairing faults in the communication system. This includes troubleshooting, testing, and repairing any equipment or software malfunctions that may occur
• Managing spare parts and equipment required for the communication system. This involves maintaining an inventory of spare parts, ensuring that the required parts are available when needed, and ordering new parts as required
• Monitoring the performance of the communication system. This includes conducting regular tests and measurements to ensure that the system is operating within specified parameters and identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
• Ensuring that the communication system meets all safety regulations and standards. This includes ensuring that all equipment and installations are in compliance with safety codes, regulations, and standards

Responsibilities

Role:

The staff reports directly to the Scientist and is expected to perform analytical work on the various samples from the research project.

Nature of work and duties:

• Ensure samples sent to the Lab are processed in accordance with SOP
• Operate the microwave digestor and prepare samples for ICP-OES analysis
• Ensure ICP-OES is calibrated and run based on SOP for various samples under the research project
• General cleaning of laboratory glassware, tools, equipment
• Monitoring and housekeeping of equipment

Qualification:

• Undergraduates pursuing a Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Soil Science, or
• Diploma in Chemistry

Experience:

• At least one year of hands-on laboratory experience
• Candidates having experience operating an ICP-OES will be given preference

Job:

• Responsible for safe and efficient operation of designated fleet of vehicles
• Maintenance and upkeep of fleet of vehicles (E.g. SCDF Command Vehicles, Next-generation Fast Response Car (FRC), Tactical Vehicle (TAV), general-purpose cars, protected public order carriers, motorcycles, armed response cars, pursuit cars, prisoner transport vans, transfer of plant and equipment)
