Position Overview:

The School of English, Maths & ESOL at Carshalton College are now seeking an inspiring and ambitious Lecturer to teach ESOL across all levels to 16-18 and 19+ learners.

Using a variety of teaching, learning and assessment strategies that meet the individual needs of all learners, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to ensure learners are gaining a positive learning experience. The role also includes providing language/literacy support to ESOL adult students.

As our Lecturer, you’ll hold a degree or relevant qualification in an appropriate subject and have excellent current teaching skills in ESOL across all levels. You will have experience of providing Additional Learning Support and have current knowledge of curriculum changes and the implications for teaching and learning strategies.

We also ask that you have experience of working to meet Awarding Organisations’ standards and have a thorough understanding of the Quality Assurance cycle and your role in it.

Availability to work two evenings per week is a must.

As our Transport Administrator, you will create and manage shipping paperwork from our internal system, physically check outgoing orders prior to creating paperwork and liaise with production control for all orders ready to ship. Liaising with the packing department to ensure the correct data is uploaded, you will identify potential packing problems using data provided from the system. You are a key part of the team to ensure that all orders are met in full and on time.

You will also support the rest of the Logistics team with various tasks, from providing quotations on shipments and arranging cargo movements, to coordinating UK shipments using internal drivers and vehicles. This is an incredibly varied role!

Who are we looking for?

We would like our Transport Administrator to have at least 1 years’ experience within a Logistics manufacturing environment and will be comfortable dealing with both Imports and Exports. Knowledge of packaging requirements for overseas shipments is essential and basic knowledge of INCO terms 2010 / 2020 would be desirable.

With the ability to both take instruction and work on your own initiative; you will be an excellent communicator and will have strong IT skills.

About the Role

As our Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the day-to-day commercial control, reporting and management of multiple projects from award up to final account, ensuring the Managing QS and Regional Commercial Director are appraised of all progress. You will be responsible for the day to day management of a small team of commercial professionals.

Within the role, you’ll manager the progress of all accounts, both client and sub-contract, through to finalisation. You’ll have effective commercial control of all allocated projects, including the provision of timely submission of valuations, invoicing, cash collection, CVR reporting, payment of supply chain, forecast and Budget setting. You will ensure that forecasts are achieved or exceeded where possible to ensure maximum profitability and value for MSPS and our clients.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team delivering high quality horticultural services to a wide variety of green spaces on the JRHT estates. You will focus on overseeing the maintenance and preparation of a wide variety of grounds and garden areas at care homes, sheltered housing and in our communal spaces. About you

Coming to us with solid practical experience of horticulture and high-quality grounds maintenance, you will possess a horticultural qualification to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 and have good botanical knowledge. You will also possess the skills and experience to manage and motivate a team to work to high standards and within defined timescales.

Your ability to problem-solve, prioritise and communicate to a wide range of different people will also stand you in good stead. You will need a full UK driving licence, hold a PA1 and PA6 licence and understand health and safety and management of risk associated with a horticultural environment. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager/Project Engineer to join the Octopus Australia team in our Melbourne or Sydney office. 

The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of Octopus’s projects at all stages of the project lifecycle including origination/investment, development, construction and operation.

Our project managers/engineers are expected to:

• Manage the construction stage delivery of renewable energy projects, managing scope, program, budget and stakeholder engagement to achieve best for project outcomes.
• Provide engineering support to the wider business including:
  • Providing technical input into due diligence for investment processes.
  • Supporting development and procurement activities.
  • Evaluation of operating plant performance and investigation of issues.
  • Supporting with investor relations.

Border to Coast are now seeking an Assistant Portfolio Manager to assist with the launch and ongoing management of all externally managed fund propositions.
You will assist in all stages of our investment process, from fund design through to manager monitoring. This will involve producing in-depth investment research, feeding into strategic and dynamic asset allocation forums, and the consistent and rigorous selection and oversight of investment managers across asset classes and much more.

About You

So, if you hold an Investment Management qualification and have relevant experience in asset management or manager research and oversight, with a strong understanding of asset classes and economic fundamentals then we want to hear from you!

With high levels of integrity and trustworthiness, you will have excellent relationship management skills and an understanding of qualitative and quantitative due diligence. Knowledge of Bloomberg and other portfolio management tools (such as eVestment) is desirable, but not a requirement.
