What you will be doing:



* Undertake MOTs and re-tests, working within the DVSA framework (class 1-4 MOT Tester)
* Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles, identifying problems. Carry out auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil
changes, fluid level checks, and tyre rotation, repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other parts
* Liaise with other departments necessary for repairs
* Record work done and tests carried out. Report any further work required or vehicle faults to the service team
* Assist the service team by returning and moving customers’ vehicles as required



What we need from you:



* Qualified Class 1-4 MOT tester, with a current and in-date MOT licence and a minimum of 2 years as an MOT tester
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a qualified technician
* Full manual driving licence, bike licence would be an advantage
* Ability to manage your time efficiently, to achieve high productivity

* Service Advisors arrange for customers' vehicles to be booked in for services of repairs
* Assist in the planning of the workshop, and liaise with internal departments including parts and the workshop, whilst being
able to understand the instructions provided to complete works/ Job cards
* Record work completed, contact customers if additional work is required, check vehicles coming through the service department
* Keep our customers updated at every stage on the progress of their vehicle, and ensure we meet the customer lead timescales.



What we need from you:

* Full manual driving licence is required
* Previous experience working within an automotive service department

What you’ll be doing:

* Accomplish maximum profitability from all aspects of the sales department
* Proactively use the company database for customer follow-ups, to maximise sales and maintain repeat business
* Carry out comprehensive and accurate appraisals of part exchange vehicles
* Have the drive and determination to exceed all set targets and sales objectives
* Adhere to company and franchise standards, policies and procedures at all times




What we need from you:

* A full manual driving licence
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand and interpret our customer’s needs
* You will be motivated, with an enthusiastic approach to your ongoing training and development
* Be computer literate, including MS packages
* Smart appearance, friendly and approachable, with the drive to succeed

What you will be doing:



* Liaise with the Sales Team daily, monitor the preparation and handover schedules of new and used vehicles.
* Ensuring the department runs smoothly and standards are maintained, to include showroom and forecourt displays. Manage all
brand CI requirements.
* Manage all trade disposals ensuring the maximum price is achieved (dealer auction and auction). Take and upload images of all
trade cars for the relevant websites. Ensure full payment is made prior to release.
* To check, inspect and test incoming stock and outgoing vehicles and complete appropriate paperwork, by following documented
procedures.
* Ensure the sales department CSI score is at the required level for the business to earn maximum variable margin (2024 this is
4.9).



What we need from you:




* A full driving licence essential
* Good understanding of MS Office packages
* Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
* Able to work calmly when under pressure

* Contact all customers due for warranty recalls on the manufacturer databases
* Ensure any customer complaints/disputes are handled professionally and swiftly
* Action Lex/1Link booking requests to the agreed procedures and time scales
* Promote sales of accessories and service packages and upsell these products wherever possible, to meet agreed targets.


What we need from you:

* Previous experience working in a call centre or sales role is preferred, motor trade experience would be an advantage
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Committed to delivering exceptional customer service
* Computer literate, including MS Office packages
* Be self-motivated, work well with a team, with a flexible approach to work
