Job Responsibilities
Branding & Communication:
- Plan, implement and review NIEC’s content strategy to ensure that NIEC’s key messages are synergistically delivered across all platforms and activities.
- Promote NIEC’s strengths in areas such as leadership training and inclusive practices.
- Safeguard NIEC’s corporate brand identity and ensure correct adaptation and usage of CI.
- Develop and manage advertising plan for paid performance marketing for key target audiences.
- Plan and produce marketing content and collaterals.
- Implement consumer insights research to track effectiveness of NIEC’s outreach and branding efforts, making recommendations to calibrate marketing strategies.
- Manage marketing budget and exercise prudence and effective use of resources.
Support Course Enrolment Target:
- Spearhead efforts and partner internal stakeholders to review, plan, develop and monitor marketing activities to drive acquisition for course enrolment.
- Drive email marketing to key target audiences by implementing results-driven email campaigns; as the project lead for email marketing, the candidate would need to make data-driven recommendations for improvement from campaign perf
- Drive awareness and demand for courses by improving customer engagements at key communication touchpoints (website, social media, events etc)
- Plan and organise NIEC outreach events.
- Work closely with external stakeholders such as representatives from preschools and agencies like SSG, career coaches and MOE ECG Counsellors to increase their knowledge of NIEC and our courses.
- Evaluate marketing programmes’ effectiveness and ROIs.
Media:
- Build and sustain relationships with the media to profile NIEC and its key spokespersons; media publicity efforts should showcase student success and establish NIEC’s thought leadership in the EC domain.
- Lead in media pitching and attending to media queries.
- Mitigate and handle crisis and emergency communications.
- Monitor and communicate media coverage relating to sector and NIEC.
Industry Collaboration:
- Foster partnerships for joint marketing initiatives with stakeholders such as preschool operators and ECDA
- Participate in key industry events organised by key industry stakeholders e.g. Skillsfuture Festival, ECDA Conference
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Mass Communication, Business, Digital Marketing or Marketing Communications with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in media relations and communications.
- Hands-on digital marketing experience with social media & website management and email marketing, with good working knowledge of current trends in digital/social media
- Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and paid performance marketing.
- Experience in developing and executing content plans.
- A creative and confident communications practitioner with a good command of English, with strong copywriting, proofreading and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Chinese, Malay or Tamil will be an advantage.
- Proactive team player with initiative, is meticulous and has good interpersonal skills.
- Has experience guiding junior team members
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive on working in a dynamic environment.
Note: All new hires will be offered a two-year contract in the first instance. Contract renewal and emplacement on permanent appointment will be subject to continuous good performance.
