NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Part Time Guest Fulfillment Center Assistant based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office.
This person is responsible for customer service and office assistance for the Guest Fulfillment Center office in Daytona, as well as credentialing guests at various racing events throughout the racing season for the national series.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Data entry.
- Document scanning.
- Answer GFC phone lines and direct calls to the appropriate person.
- Customer correspondence, including, but not limited to, calling members for declined credit cards and address verification.
- Assists with set up for the credentials office for each event scheduled to work.
- Verifies identification and issues credentials to guests of the teams and the company’s sponsors.
- Investigates and resolves when able issues with guests not included on a guest list.
- Balances cash and credit at the end of each day open for business.
- Works all three national series.
- Approximate travel 20%, including weekends. 80% in Daytona office.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Required skills / experience:
- Position handles cash and credit cards; credit check required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.
- NASCAR License.
- Customer service, people skills, act as a representative of the company.
