At MSIG Asia, we are committed to strengthening HR’s business partnering role to support the growth of our business and our people in the region. This newly created role will offer a unique opportunity to be a key part of this process, supporting corporate and regional HR team leads on projects across Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management and other HR operational streams. Given the dynamic nature of this role and the evolving technology landscape and advancement, you will be expected to leverage on technology and have a strong change mindset in delivering the assigned work.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate participation in compensation surveys and analyse competitive positioning to meet business needs.
- Monitor, evaluate and recommend improvements to policies, programmes, processes, and systems relating to Compensation & Benefits and Performance Management. This includes regular reviews based on the organisational total rewards philosophy, research, stakeholders’ feedback, and people and performance data and analytics to derive evidence-based insights to ensure relevance and competitiveness against industry benchmarks.
- Support in business partnering activities for local and regional projects across the full spectrum of HR functions aimed at driving a high-performance culture, including developing and implementing policies and programmes.
- Support communication activities of all forms such as emails, presentations, policies and guidelines
- Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource or related fields
- 5-8 years’ experience as a HR Specialist or Business Partner with minimum 3 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits
- Interest or knowledge in performance management and international mobility will be a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other digital tools, including an advanced proficiency in Excel
- Ability to independently craft documentation and communication with minimum supervision
- Strong creative thinking skills to approach challenges with fresh perspectives
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in verbal and written English
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with business acumen
- Ability to work with multi-cultural/disciplined teams and cross-functionally with other teams to achieve business results
- Organisational, team building and influencing skills
